I've noticed I stop running when I use a ranged heal. This does not happen when I use a stim pack. Is this a bug? It causes a great deal of problems since I have to start running to contiunue chasing my subject.

Also if you are sitting and do a range heal you remain standing, bug?

I think it has to do with the annimation attached to the action, but I'm not a computer programer just making a guess. If this isn't a bug I don't understand why we should have to stop running to do a range heal. The remain standing thing is just annoying.

My thinking is that it's by design. When throwing a ranged stim, you probably stop because you need to aim and then throw. If I have myself on auto-run, I usually stop to throw the stim and then start running again without having to do anything on my part. It's just a temp stop. With regular stims, the person is usually within a very close range, so it may be assume no aiming is required, thus no stopping.

Not sure...trying to figure out dev logic can be hazzardous to the health sometimes

it's a bug caused by the animation.

it was fixed at one point in beta but it was back when we went gold.

it's the same issue as the animation of getting hit in combat makes you stop.
