Just a warning to you CMs out there.. I had 6000 units of Class 7 Radioactive in my Inventory and I went around to all my harvesters and was reuping my power and Mait. I get to my last Harvester and Take a look at my Radioactive it went from 6000 to 150.. As you put Wind power in your harvesters it will also take the same amount of your radioactive resource.. Dont put it your back pack as it will still do the same thing.. I will try putting in my house later and see if that will protect my Radioactive material... Not that its hard enough to get good material for Stuff they also have to steal it back....

Just a warning dont want see you all loose all your hard earned Supplies.. Unless your a IMP

argh.. so thats the reason? I lost around 1500-2k radioactive material from my backpack and wondered why. When I placed it in my house, it stayed for several days, so that does work.

I do believe that the problem is because radoiactive material is actually counted as a power source...so when you place power..it takes the radoiactive and the wind. Am i correct or wrong? Because i honestly am not sure.

Dheth is correct, radioactive is a power source pulled by fusion generators. It kinda sucks because i had the same thing happen, I learned quick to leave the radioactive at home.

I bugged this a while back. Seemed even nastier to me, because it pulls from packs, pockets and even equipped backpacks now since patch. Not just inventory anymore.

it's not a bug, it's a feature.

yup working as intended...

radioactives = power

some liquid petrofuel (used for poisons) = power

so be careful

Harvesters will merrily eat all your radioactives, and liquid petrochemicals, too.

The way I've found to get around it (after a bit of swearing after realizing my freshly bazaar-bought radioactives disappeared) is to move the resources also considered fuel into a container in inventory.
It appears to take whatever item is at the bottom of your inventory first, so you should be safe as long as you've got some other power source lower down in your inventory. I wouldn't risk it though; the container method is safe, and has worked for me. Just make sure you don't deposit more power than you have, otherwise it'll start to pull it from your radioactives and liquid petros in your pack next.

Gah.. I just had this happen to me no less than 2minutes before reading this post. I deposited power, came here, read it, checked my inventory and yes.. radioactive was the power of choice it decided to deposit. doh.

When you get some radioactive just stick it somewhere off of your person.(house/bank) If you can't do that right away then keep a close eye on it. It will pull from all containers on you and your regular inventory.

Just keep any eye on it as best as you can.
