Hi!

I'm aiming to become a Master Doc. My remaining skill points I'm thinking of investing in pistolier and combat medic. I aim to be a healing/buffing doc and use my gun to deal damage. Hence I do not need the poisons of the CM skill tree.

My question to you are, which skills in the CM tree will give me the most healing power per invested skill point?

What levels of Combat Medic Support are needed to use what pharmaceuticals for example?

It really depends on how many points you are willing to spend.

I'm assuming you don't want to craft your own ranged stims, so you wouldn't need to crafting line. Then there's the CM Ranged Healing Distance and CM Ranged Healing Speed lines.

When you buy ranged stims, they'll have a default range depending on the crafting technique and materials. For example, my last batch of ranged stim-D's had a range of 29m. As you increase your skill in CM Distance, you'll be able to throw these farther, but you'll always be able to get 29m out of them. B's are somewhere in the range of 18m maybe? Sorry, I'm really horrible at remembering minor details.

The only line that *you* are probably interested in is CM Support. This line increases your Combat Medicine Use skill. This effects what level of meds you can use, and also how damaging/healing your packs are, just like Medicine Use.

Ranged D's have a med use of around 70 (CM Support IV) without experimentation on Ease of Use. So I'd guess ranged C's to be CM Support III, I think B's are CM Support I, and A's are Novice CM. You could always buy stim's experimented on Use though.

Does that help?
