I'm trying to use AOE stims in the cantina and I get this error message no matter who I try to target. Out of town the same stims work fine. Any ideas why?

got the same area and my stim uses multiplied by 300, did it all the way so now i have 10k uses lol. but then shortly after i got "connection to SWG lost"

I hung out in the cantina all day on Sunday and I had this problem occur intermittently. At one point two other CMs came in and tried theirs and reported the same problem.

I have noticed that it will heal some of the people in the cantina but not others. It is consistent as to which people it will not heal. Once, I ran out of the cantina and back in again and it seemed to fix it.

However, last night this started happening again and no amount of running around/relogging would fix the problem.

This is irritating. Has anyone /bug'd this yet?

Ya, this is very frustrating, specialy in PvP combat watching your group die as you get this wonderfull bug and can't do a **edit** thing about it...

I have noticed tho that sometimes you'll through the heal and it heals people in its radius, but not the actual target.

and here i thought itwas just me. i finaly crafted my first area A and wentto the cantina to test it out and started getting the same error message every time i used the stim. nest thing i know i look at it and see that its uses went from 32 up to 192.

diffenetly an odd bug, anyone know if it happens in the field or just in cantinas?

The reason for this is (from what I have found) you are trying to heal a member of an opposing faction. Your target may not be a member of the opposing faction, but there is one in the AoE of the stim. So it won't let you use the stim because someone else you aren't actually trying to heal is un-healable by you.

had this happen to and every time the req cm use is like 6x the normal use...and found that if i tossed a normal stim or ranged stim i could then throw the AE stim at the target...but at that point he was healed..so got 2xp from him and a bunch from the rest.

i dont think it has to do with faction..cause like i said the use goes thru the roof everytime this happens

well i tried this again last night and spent quite a bit of time healing entertainers in the cantina in coronet while i was waiting for somone with wounds to show up. i did have a good laugh last night though because i used an area A when there where a bunch ofaspireing medics in the cantina and they all started blameing each other for healing their dancer

but being the kind person i was i left and just came back later when it was less buisy. still i find a cantina to be a much better place to pick up patients than a med center because they have already gotten rid of their BF(and most people stilldont seem to knowtjhis does affect heals)

I found the same thing. When I got that weird message - I just hit that dancer with a regular Stim. Worked fine.

It is nothing to do with faction. I had this last night, and we were all Imperials. Glad I am not doing something wrong, as it was the first time I had tried area stims.
