Do different weapons' poisons on the same pool stack?

For example:

weap1)80pt health poison

weap2) 20pt health poison

Both poison lands, do you have a 100pt poison on the opponent now?

Not ignoring you. I just don't happen to know the answer to this one. The Devs don't return to work until Monday, so i can't even ask.

Your best bet is to go to the Doctor/Combat medics forums. They might know.

It's ok Raph, you're too nice to ignore anyone. I was gonna ask them but it's weapons poison, so i figure it's best to ask a weapons user. I'm wondering if anyone could run a test I can't play till the 13th but I'm looking forward to an answer on this one.

if it goes any way like CM and critters i would say yes it does.
all you would have to do is find a weapon that poisons and see if it tells your partner you have sustained more poison.
i am sorry i could not run these tests for you but i have not found any weapons that poison or for that mater do anything special

I have tested this. No they do not stack.

I hit a creature with a 140 damage health poison lance and let the poison set in. Once I saw it take, I attacked it with a 280 damage health poison lance. I then stopped attacking and waited to see what the poison was for. After watching the creature for a minute or two, it became clear that only the 280 damage poison was working. Note, the durations on the poisons were both longer than the time I was watching. So it wasn't simply a matter of the lower damage poison wearing off.

So basically it works the same as trying to stack healthhit2, only the strongest one works.

i was under the impreasion that health hits/bleeds DO stack. ok someone out there want to put this to rest for me.

Well if you mean stack as in healthhit1, healthhit2 and a health poison then yes. If you mean stack as in health poison from wep 1 and health poison from wep 2 then no. When you see that "you have substained more poison" message it means another bar has been poisoned. For example an action poison stacks with a health poison.

Why they let bleeds stack I'm not sure... probably has something do with the fact that the same move can't stack with itself but the bleeds come from two seperate moves.
