Guys I think we should get some type of our own weapon.....Anyone Agree........Post your thoughts here.........

any ideas on type ?

ex. Carbine/Pistol/Rifle

I think some sort of carbine consitering it is the less looked on of a proffesion...... this would definately get some people into it

if we get our "own" weapon, their are 2 problems.


1) Our profession is quite strong as it is, with 500-1200 ticks, we are pretty strong.


2) If we do get our own weapon, eventually, musicians will ask for instruments with a 300 Max Dmg, and will be dropped by NightSisters...


I like the idea though, if it does happen, I will be right behind it. Just trying to point out some flaws with the idea.

even though it would be nice i realy dont think we need it with are 1500 tick poisons 1k tick diease

I thought the ability to add slight dots to weapon would be another good credible source of income, as most of us dabble in a combat proffession anyways to some degree.


Also for trade off for that ability, I still stand firm behind the idea of removing spider venom completely out of the game, and get combat medic back to more of a support proffession.

It is a rare drop, that is supposed to add "spice" to our profession.

Definetly a rare drop now, but I do not see how it adds anything, but more of the same. Poisons were plenty powerful enough before spider venom came along. Except in PvE, which its not used for anyways.

Yes..... the ability to poison our weapons.... only on like sharp bladed weapons like swords or pikes or so.....


just like poisoners in UO =) that would be awesome....


should let us poison food while we're at it so we can grief newbies! <- that bit's a joke

cool idea but weapon smiths would definetly bit.ch on why they cant "sharpen" weapons and make a bleed dot or something or that matter

without venom I can make 500 ticks. Which is good enough for me in PvP, because my template is uber

I don't see CM's getting a "special" weapon cert within CM - I could foresee maybe one of each rifle/pistol/carbine being added to the marksman/ranged support line but even that isn't likely IMNSHO.
