If you can find someone, [a guildy perhaps] that would put your items on their vendor, or set up a vendor for you, it would be much more economical. Resource gathering, crafting, and trying to sell your itemsabsorbs too much time and money when you don't already have a client base that is willing to buy them.Unless you really enjoy that sort of thing you may want to try a combat profession to supplement your Combat Medic skills. I picked up Rifleman becuase I like the whole sniper thing, but youcan try any one of the ranged professions to see if they float your boat.[You'll have to drop some CM or not masteryour other elite profession if you go the melee route] So unless you already have a secure client base, having a combat profession can be your real money maker. That's just me, but I'm not patient enough to search for resources, monitor harvestors, and spam to try and get someone to visit my shop. Just my two creds...

I am trying very hard to start my own business, because I need some credits to survive out here. I am trying to do both the merchanting, the resource gathering, and the crafting. Unfortunately, I do not have enough skill points left after all of this for very much....
I am considering if it would be possible to allow a much more successful player sell my items, so I could use the skill points on a complimentary class for Combat Medic (which I am one box away from mastering).
I am curious, who out there tries to get some cash by selling more often than they go out with groups to fight? I am finding it harder and harder to get any sort of income, but I keep hoping that my business will eventually pick up. I still miss the hunt, though......

I have decided to take up both, and it took a while to figure out how I was going to do it....
I am going to become a Master Combat Medic, and whatever branches of Ranger I can take. Come hell or high water, that's what I'm gonna be!!!
I've been changing classes about every week since I started this game, and I think that this is what I am going to do. If I can, I will take all 4 boxes of rifles to help with the hunting.
I am willing to accompany parties on their own hunting excursions for 2K a person per hour, to act as a form of income while still being able to fight. I will continue to run my Medicine Business, and supply the newbie grinders with Wound Packs at the highest quality and lowest prices that I can afford.
Hope to see any Bloodfin CM's out in the bush!

Only fight here, never sell my stuff. Can't have any imps on our server buying it

the way i'm doin it is mater cm and merch 0-4-0-0 then gonna drop tent and vendors then drop merch and keep the tent and vendors then master rifle

hehe, guess I should specify what I sell...
I don't worry about imps buying my stuff because it probably isn't the best on our server, but I only sell basic components and some easy-to-produce advanced components, and I sell amssive amounts of Wound Packs with as high of a heal as I could (161) for 1.5K a group. I also sell some stims, but I am focusing more on the wound heal packs for my stuff. If I can secure sources of Advanced component resources, then I'll do them some more.

I've sold crated range stimpacks in the past but not many. Poisons I crafted a few times for some cash when I first started. But now I hoard my precioussss. I'll still make some packs for friends or other Imperials but thats it and even that's a rare thing.

I fight and sell. My name on the battlefield increases my sales. When ppl see me toss a poison that ticks for 1100 they all wanna go CM
