This isn't a bug. Healing xp is now taken away from the amount of combat/weapons xp you get for killing a mob. Since the level 5 player grouped with you, the system considers him to be level 71 just like you, and therefore the xp you would get from killing a low level mob would be 1 xp. Split that, round up, and you get 1 weapons xp and 1 healing xp.

Aye, as far as I can tell that's correct. This is fine in an equal level group, but not with such mix matched levels.
The workaround is to not group. I'm not sure how that affects your medic XP, but that increases the mob's con for the level 5 thus more xp to split between weapon/medic. Had simalar happening on TC and not grouping seemed to work there (at that time). Might give it a try on live and see if that's still the case.

Look at the con of the critter you are attacking. It has to be near or above your lvl. Basically if it shows as grey in color on the lvl, you will get no xp....hope this helps

i'm now lvl 71 after the cu. stayed on doc at 4414. Grouped with someone who is lvl 5. Thought we would test healing xp. he unequipped his weapon and went hand to hand with a low lvl mob. as he took damage i healed him. the xp gain was about 1 pt of xp per heal. Is this just because of the level diff or the mob level?
