We gave it a shot last night. We had a good group, nice mix of profs and a couple jedi. We cleard the NS stronghold on dath, killed the lvl 300 queen, who is surrounded by a bunch of lvl 125 protectors. (that queen was worth 20k xp btw) Only was it is possible is with masterdefender jedi using AI. Then we hunted a few ns elders, it was tough, long fights and some of us would die every so often. But all in all was a good run. So we figure, hey lets hit the geo caves.......

It was a bad idea

I knew the caves had been a little borked on TC. The lvl 66 geonosians at the door....no problem. But the enhanced kwi.....crushed us. We tried 5 or 6 times and never got into the first door. There were 4 of them...lvl 106. We figured to drag em up and kill them off, they can't be tougher then NS right? lol I call it "kwi spam" because it was like the turret spam of old, those things hit 4 or 5 time a second. Even when we did find a way to get by (forget trying to kill them) as we were getting through the door, that lvl 86 droideka was tearing us up, then 1 kwi came back and the lvl 110 klicknik jumped in.

Safe to say it totally sucked. They all DB right off too, no incaps at all.

I think the cave should be tough, but it should get tougher as you go down. Targeting everything in there, some of the toughest crap in the cave is at the front door. We're going to try it again. Using jedi with AI to tank and other jedi to feed them force while the rest of us beat on them. We don't know yet what to hit them with, since when we did it the kwi didn't seem to take much damage. I hate not being able to see resists.

that rapid fire thing ive been seeing is a bug? thank goodness... i got massacred by some lvl 13 or so valarians... i was lvl 72, they all shot really quickly. good to know that aint intended.

How did you manage to really kill the NS queen? Level125 will oneshot kill anyone even level 80 Jedi and a 300 would absolutely slaughter you. Are you sure you got the levels right?

We had 2 defender jedi alternating AI to keep them all aggro, and me and another cm alternated paralyze, the rifles tore her up, then we picked off the protectors. Had a 3rd jedi healer and was feeding force to the defenders. They all used a holo doing it too.

With her paralyzed and on her back the whole time it wasn't too bad, we used the same trick on the protectors. Works great on elders too.....lol I knew those jedi were good for something.

Anyone notice the DWB is a low lvl dungeon now? Place is easy with 4 or 5 guys, we spent over 4 hours grinding xp in there.

We went to the dwb before geo , but didn't get any loot, so I told them "oh the geo will be so easy, even u can solo it".... wrong prediction.

Correction: The TOP of the DWB is a low level dungeon.

Anything past the second key room is touch and go.

The Tempest DWB junkies have been running it. Trying to get me through the Foreman's quest. So far our success has been limited at best.
