Thread: What's the latest word on CM Effectiveness Tapes?

I have heard rumors of, but not seen direct links to, Dev comments that suggest these do not and will not work.



Any recent experiments as to usefulness??


Anyone have any real data on this?

I believe the consensus is that CM effectiveness is capped at 100.


I know the tapes and necklaces do work (not hard to check that) if you are not a master CM, but not otherwise... (This was the fix for the range bug way back when -- to just cap CM effect.)


That being said, as far as I know I'm the only permanent non-master CM around (on valcyn), so I'd be happy to take any useless tapes you might have off your hands.
