Combat Medic Archive

I've decided to work on Combat Medic, too many chefs are killing my business. What's the best combat system to combine with CM?Master CM leaves enough SP to master one elite marksman skill, am I best off with Pistoleer, Rifleman, or Carabinieri? (I hate the title they have for that, the Italian one really is best.)

Pistoleer gives me good attacks close up, on the run, but not many working specials or powerful weapons. Also gives me the evade skill, and some health bleeds. Not to mention a decent weapon at low levels (Republic Blaster) and the brand-new Geo popgun.

Carabinieri gives me decent accuracy while moving, lets me be good at range (laser carbine) or close up (DXR6, I think it is), some nice specials, (especially some that lower stance/KD) and nice armor piercing. (Laser Carbine again.) Also grants counterattack, and some action bleeds.

Rifleman weakens me up close, since it is best at 40m and up, and poor accuracy if I run away, but some good weapons and special attacks. Also the block skill, but the main thing here is the ability to attack mind, which when coupled with poison, can be very powerful.

I've got all the numbers, but I'd like some hints from people who have actually tried these combinations and seen which ones work. Thanks for your time.

Unless you can buy all your poisons or you have 2 accounts, you will not really want to master a combat profession. the need to survey and harvest alone will leave very little room for decent combat. that said rifleman is not very Dabble friendly so i would vote pistol or carbine. I will most likely go pistol afterI master rifle. just to get my survey and harvesting back. That is ifI care to craft anymore after the crafting nerf.
