First, something for the nerf-criers to cry nerf about...
http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=55506&poll_id=0&warned=y
I've been PvPing a LOT lately. One of my favorite games is to "Take the shuttle to Theed" - In order to appreciate, see this post...

Basically I show up at one of the more powerful Reb guilds door, and start killing anything red. I always pick this particular rebel guild due to the fact that they cleaned up our two imp bases on one outing. Interestingly I seem to be getting a good repoire with several of the folks I fight with, and we compare notes after it's over.
Skillstats.
0020 scout - cause hey, nobody else will collect meat for me. In all honesty this is very important to me.
2030 marksman - thinking of dropping doc and going rifle/CM for two things... more defense primarily, and the ability to hit defensive templates 1/4 of the time.
4440 Doc - gives me weak 700 strbuffs allowing me to put armor on (I tend to buff only from 1200-1500), and the ability to cure. that is ALL it's used for. A friend lets me use his doc account since I dropped master doc, and half the time I have good 2000-2200 buffs.
Master CM
Defensive Equipment
- Trandoshan, so I'm missing hands and feet.
- I have nearly the best composite armor that money can buy with peices ranging from 84-89% effective, but am still jonesing for a new helmet that is 90% as it is my weakest peice at 84% (all of this stuff bought on slice vendors).
- I have several PSG's with 3500 ham and sliced to 58-59% for the stun gun's.
Toxins:
I have the best straight toxins on the server (to my knowledge). I have some spider poison enhanced ones, but I paid a hefty toll aquiring them and I don't think I'm going to bother in the future. For my straight toxins, I only use mind toxins to reduce inventory management issues (I carry 35 different kinds of stim in my inventory... before food buffs). I only use AE diseases because they are only 9 effectiveness than my singles, and they don't stack. My toxins are this appx effectiveness...
Poison C 330
Poison AE C 245
Poison AE B 155ish
Poison AE A (I don't honestly remember... use mostly in PvE for high hitpoint mobs like kimo's)
Disease AE C 99eff
Buffs
I almost always am overt, buffed to the nine's, full brandy, with muon gold at my disposal. For fights I have thakitillo, synthsteak, vegesparine as my most commonly used. I'd like to find something that is as good for dizzy as thakitillo is for KD, preferrably food not drink.
One on One
It usually takes 2-3 rounds of battle for them to eliminate me, and usually takes 2-4 of them to do it. A single rifleman can take me down any time my PSG isn't covering stun, and TKA take me down 50/50 depending on how effective their dizzy is. I think my poison has been resisted ONCE in the last week, but since I am in the habit of applying 2-3 poisons plus disease, it's unimportant. My toxins have Potency of appx 130 bypassing most resistances, even the people who eat resist food and have very high resists get nailed by me.
People more and more often BOUNCE back up with full ham when they incap, before I can deathblow. This could be TKA, or a combination of a well timed muon or zabrak skill, I don't know. All I know is that I can't deathblow these people, and must survive long enough for my poison to incap them... These people also seem to always have the trait that I cannot hit them with my gun, so the only way I CAN incap them is with the poison+disease combo.
One on many
See first link at the top.
CM is the big equalizer in unevenly sized groups. A small group with people on the ball can take out a larger group without much fuss - even if both groups have CM's. I'd say that the ideal group size is about 5, two of which need to be able to cure poison, 1-2 need to be able to res and cure disease.
Where I truly shine is where I can bring a large group to a screetching halt, die, and let 2-4 others go in for the kill about 60 seconds later. Solo, I am unable to do much but slow a large group down for about 2 minutes.
Am I balanced?
Pfftbalance, what's that?
I've been a CM for 6 months, but I didn't Pvp until the last 2-3 weeks. I had 25 million credits when I stopped being a crafter and now I have 3 million credits - The level of preparadness I am at cost an excruciating amount of credits, and I now regret spending the first 15 mil flagrantly. I may NOT be able to keep up being a full time PvP CM without going broke. In reality I may have to sell CM meds again, but this time without a vendor... I hope I still have my CM mailing list somewhere.
I believe that anyone as prepared withdecent template and good equipmentas I am will kill me outright 33% of the time, Die after they kill me 33% of the time, and outright die the last 33% of the time.
My advantages? I don't have to spend huge amounts of ham killing them. I LOVE it when people gtef me because I am already done fighting their buddies, and just waiting for their buddies to die. When they gtef me it means they waited to open up and attack - at which point I poison, disease, poison them too while their buddy they are protecting runs off to die in a lonely corner somewhere.
My disadvantages? All my defense is bought. If my stomach is full going into a PvP fight, my chances of surviveal go down dramatically. A defensive stacker is extremely difficult for me to hit, meanwhile they keep hitting me for ahalf minute with 0 mind until the disease kicks them negative.halfof my 1v1 deaths are AFTER my opponent is at 0 mind.
Once mind pool is healable, only dizzyness will take me down 1v1... I'm guessing people won't die from me much anymore either.
Anyway,
shoot, I didn't mean to write a book.

This would be FOW( Force Of Will) A tk skill on the fourth line of meditate. If you do go rifleman its not to hard to use sniper shot before they FOW. Great post by the way.
