Hey, I was helping to get some advice here from you guys. Im in the process of making a CM char on Ahalzi. Right now im 4, 4, 4, 4 in Medic (need ap) and 4, 0, 0, 4 in Marksman. I am going som Rifleman, the 'Revive tree' in Doctor, and master CM. I was wondering what a good ham setup would be. Right now i have the following:

Health: 805, Strength: 365, Constitution: 500

Action: 725, Quickness: 600, Stamina: 400

Mind: 1005, Focus: 480, Willpower: 475

These are the numbers before encumberance is caluated. I loose about 70 to health ham, 225 to action ham, and 80 to mind ham. Are there any values any of you would change? and if so, which ones, and to what.. maybe i can see some of your HAM setups that have around the same professions as what I'm going. Any help is greatly appreciated!

hehe, we meet again...

I would say, stick everything you can into mind, especially considering your going to be using a rifle along with you medical skills. You can always buff your other stats, especially since you will get the ability to buff yourself as you get the rez ability.

I'm a nov CM (1112) and a nov rifleman (1000). I can concur that you really need to have a lot of mind. As a Zabrak, I have 1000 mind and very high willpower (700?). This helps greatly, but I'd still like more mind. The high mind usage of both throwing a poison, or usingthe best rifle skills is significant, especially since many of the poisons I throw are not effective (and thus I need to try again, and again). It's very disappointing late in a battle to not have enough mind to heal yourself, or a friend. Normally, I do not do battle with a helmet on, unless I find my own mind is being targetted, because of encumberance.

Tactics-wise, the other problem with this pairing, is that your early poisons must be thrown from pretty close range (~20m). This is contrary to rifle, and as a result, I don't throw many poisons as it stands, unless I have a tank of some sort. When I get better range, and better success at hitting, I'm sure I'll be quite happy with the combo.

Thanks guys, I also do not wear a helmet. That encumberance comes from my boots, leggings and gloves. I do not wear chest armor, cause of the high costs on it. If you guys could recommend what to take from to add to my mind, what would it be?

Here is my theory and it works pretty well, Ill modify it slightly to apply to you (Because Im a pistoleer)

You dont need to regen quickly in strength and Action, because these are things you can heal, nor do you need to worry about burning up alot from specials, because you specials use mind. So set both of your secondaries to 300 for both action and health. With the extra points, cap your mind, action and health as well as all of your mind secondaries. If you have anything left over... its your call.

CM/Pistoleer is pretty good.... im trying CM/DIrty Fighting/slicing right now to see what its like. If you are a cm rifleman you definitely want to max all mind stats. Also, be a race that has good base mind stats like zabrak. With 900 willpower zabrak have great recharge on mind as long as you have minimal enc. Also you get equilibrium with zabrak which can save a group from demise.
