Thread: About the one stars
Alright guys, it was funny the first 1k times you one-star everybody. Let's try to be a little more grown up now.
If you don't like what you see in this profession thread, don't enter it. If you disagree with an idea or a topic, by all means post a response instead of one starring.
Thats a lot of stars! 
So, what exactly do the one-stars do? Everyone seems disgruntled about it, I can't even figure out whats going on! 
default forum settings for most people filters out any post that are 1 starred. therefore if you post hasa 1 star rating, some people can't see your post. the same problem exist on the TC forum. it's probably not a good idea to directly address these "1 star bandits", they usually don't care enough to stop and read
Stars Are supposed to be a Method of rating the "Importance" of the topic...To attract attention.
To break it down a Bit...See it used to be When you Got a 5 star rating on you post it would make you feel good because people agreed with ya and would attract more people to the thread....When you would see a 1 star post it would signify that the post isn't all that important or relevant such as the Infamous "ALL CM ARE **edit** EXPLOITRZ!" or a topic that Somone strongly disagreed with. But now **edit** near Everyone Gets One star'd For just posting up a topic by the "One-Star Ninjas" so itscrews the way some peopleskim threw the forums, Looking for the "Good" topics...But can't find them because the whole forum has 1 and 2 star rating down the whole side.
I Personaly get iritated when i get One-Star'd Without a Responce indicationg why i get one stared....It Just seems Pointless to rate my messages like that without any reason why you didn't like it. But now people do it without even reading the Tittle, Much less the message. So the Whole star system is Garbage for the most part....except on Realy hot topics where it seems to average out at a 4 star rating

I know, but I have to try 
It's upsetting to me when I see 7 or 8 new threads on the first page with no responses and they have all been one starred. I also feel I have to give fair warning before I ask Mods to become involved. By the way Pappi, was on TC for a lil bit today and didn't see ya round. Gotta run into ya sooner or later!

The problem is that the One Star Ninja doesnt one star people because he disagrees - he does it because hes an annoying 10 year old kid probably. My solution to it is to five star anything I see thats one starred to try and balance it out.
Im afraid the only permanent solution is to ask the forum moderators to find out whos doing it, and ban him from the forums.
