Tight, you can't master both, but it is still a decent template to use a lot of the skills from both. THe primary tactic would be to send in the pet, toss in your DoTs and ranged or AoE heal the pet. Great for a solo tactic, in all. And if you get into trouble you'll have the TN needed to climb up hills to help in keeping your distance (so remember to use terrain to your advantage.)

A good way to combine CM and CH is to: Master CM; 2,2,0,0 in CH; any 4 levels in Marksmen, not including Ranged Weapon support; 4,0,4,0 Scout (needed for CH). That's 250 folks.

In this way you can use, but not train, higher levels pets, while maintaining decent fighting ability, and Mastering CM.

I was doing the same as well before the CH changes were announced, but I just gave it up totally in favor of some more doc and carbineer skills though.

But really, for normal pvm play whats the point of mastering CH when you can heal for a lot of damage with a ranged stim-E? My little GSP (1100 pet, 8k HAM, 20k adjusted for kinetic resist) could tank just about anything except Krayts and Kimos as long as I healed him occasionally.

I was going mCM and 4,4,0,0 CH before the changes were annouced too. I'm dumping ch fully now, I'll probably go pistolier and some doc skills.
