Ok... I've been toying around with this notion for a while now and I think it is time for me progress in another profession. Currently I am...

CM 2/2/1/4 (need training in 2/2/1/-)

Marksman 0/4/4/4

Scout 4/0/4/1

Master Medic

CH 1/1/0/0

Doc 0/0/0/0

I was about to do Master Marksman but then got a holo telling me to master CM. I was like, cool, I'm half way there already! But I have just one thing to say.... CRAFTING FOR XP SUCKS!! No ifs, ands, or buts! With no harvesters or real supplies to craft with, I had to go to the bazar and buy all my initial supplies, except for a water vaporator that was graciously donated by one of my guild mates. (Thanks Cosoe!!) Anyway to say the least, compared to most people, I think I am fairly un-rich. (the most credsI had at one point was 125k)

Well back to the subject.. I was thinking of going the Pistoleer route, I dropped the rifle tree cause I needed skill points and didn't want to give up my pets. But Carbineer sounds good too.I realize I may have to give up my pet (Grand Wrix) thus giving up my scouting skills too since my pet is the only reason I keep them. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments on what would be a good route to take?

Without a doubt, you should either be a Master Doctor or a Master Ranged. This will maximize your character, since each starting profession cost 15 points to train. Sticking to Medic and Marksman starting professions will allow you to master 3 professions. Either Medic, CM, and a Ranged weapon - or - Medic, CM, and Doctor.

If you go Ranged, I'd go Pistoleer.

Rifleman is potentially really powerful because of the mind target coupled with mind poisons, but also very risky since you will be using your own mind for offense and healing.

Carbineer is...well...nerfed. When they do revamp this profession it could be worth trying.

Pistoleer is where you will do consistantly excellent damage and will not drain your mind too quickly. Coupled with Health Shots 1 and 2 and health poisons, you will be a dangerous opponent.

Try master brawler 20 sec delay kd/dizzy combo, mind attacks and a kd with every weapon, plus intimidate cuts dmg by half.

Not sure on the skill point

Pistoleer is the way to go in my opinion.
