CMs - Produce rebreathers (as seen in Geo Caves) with a x Hour limit on them. They must be dropped in a Ubese or better helmet.


The crafting part comes from longevity of the rebreather, the Resistance to Poison (either Mind, Health, Action) and Resistance to Disease (either Health Mind or Action).


This leaves Secondary stats unprotected and therefore more of a target.


Once the Rebreather is expired, it is removed from the helmet and another would be needed.


What do you think ?

I'm against any item or change that would negate the dmg a CM can do unless that negation is thru skill point expenditure effort. aka Doctor.



However.... if this rebreather forced the CM to experiment and think more about potency than range or damage.. Then that would be cool. So for example those 80m 800 dmg ticks will never effect anyone with a rebreather. The CM would have to instead live with lower range, lower tick just to be able to get a tick on you in the first place.

It wil not negate the dmg, it will be (undecided) either lower the DoT, like other profs (commando, bleeds etc) suffer targetting armored folk, OR add a potency/resistance to poison/disease.
