Thread: Should SELF TARGETED Area Heals still heal in their radius?
When did they remove it? I was a CM at the end of month 1, for 4 months, and it never worked then. I dropped CM for a while to hologrind, about 2 months, and now I'm MCM again, and it still doesnt work.
I'm not convinced it was intentional.
Anyone else here ever have self targeted aoe heals actually heal in a radius?
nope, but i also had area heals which have healed no one :/

Ok, why use an AoE Stim on yourself if your also hopping to cure others? Ain't it just as easy to target the nearest player to you and use it on them to heal yourself up as well? I do this all the time. Why can't you do that?
Are you trying to work your way around the line of sight to heal everyone that's on another side of a wall from you or something? If so, then to me, that'd be an attempt to exploit. Your a Combat Med, get in the middle of the battle and heal your buddies. If you wan't to stay far behind or in a safe spot, be a Doctor.
In my opinion, the Devs intentionaly made it so that you cannot use an Area Stim on yourself to heal the others around you.
I'm not looking to exploit. I would like this changed to use the AOE for added efficiency.
Example: I regularly PVP with multiple large groups. It is simple for me to target a group member, but members of other groups can often be occluded by the sheer number of people in my field of view. Pressing ctrl+1 to target myself, and then healing in a radius, would be much quicker than clicking on a random person on screen (being as the mouse clicks during laggy times are often delayed) and then healing.
In addition, if i simply target someone and type \heal, it uses the best medicine in my inventory. This is included when I \heal self. Quite often, I will \heal self, and it takes a charge from my AOE stims, which are, obviously, overkill.
