Thread: Are CMs any good on group hunts?
I find CM's awesome to have in a group!
By the way . . . what planet do the "kytrates" and "kyrates" spawn on? I am extremely interested in seeking these elusive creatures out!
GL!

Did you really have to be such an anus about that... anwyays. Ya, Cm's are way fun on group hunts.
When people have their stuff together, are buffed, armored, and brandied up - we are only needed when whatever animal is tanking gets hurt. This applies for most PvE. With Nightsisters or the like (high HAM, high damage mobs) we are usefull in keepingpeople on their feet when the tank inevitably runs out of mind, and for the /healmind we can do towards the end of the battle when everyone is coming down off of muon downers, or the brandy is wearing off.
In PvP, we are great, but any people you are up against will see those glowing balls of light and kill you ASAP anyway, you might as well do the poison and at least laugh all the way to the cloning center.
There are a range of creatures/NPCs which you will need a CM to take out. These usually fall into 'the end game' critters, elder nightsisters, nightspider elder, high end FS types, and the infamous Ancient Krayt etc etc.
If the damage is increasing from a disease it is most likely because of Battle Fatigue. So I can see this happening in PvP, but unsure of PvE. In PvE hunting, we can easily due heavy damage to a Krayt. My guild just recently took down a Nightsister Elder in a relativly short time b/c of diseases and poisons.

How much damage can CM poisons/diseases do to a krayt in a group hunt? I've heard some talk about the diseases causing more and more damage as time goes by. How does that work?
