Considering I'm hunting Jedi, if someone has MBH and MPistols, what would be a good CM mix? 0004? Will Thyroid Rupture and Paralyze stick without being Master? Will the damage output be anything substantial? Am I better of getting 4000 to have bacta spray to heal myself instead? Thanks for your help.

probably 4000 for heals is better since pistoleer has some good debuffs already. Im MBH/MCM and carbineer 0400 and its pretty good. Another good template is 4000 BH/MP/ MCM

Fancy giving out any tips on surviving for a while?
Im MBH/MCM/Pistols 0/0/1/3. Im not a good PvPer, but I have been in game for over 20m so i have a fair idea of the general tactics
Ive just duelled a MDef Jedi 3 times. To be honest I wasnt fully kitted up for a duel (didnt really have the right food and spices etc), and in the closet match I lastest about 5 mins or so, until my mind ran out and I got incapped.
My defense was OK, but I wasnt really hurting my friend. He just kept doing the jedi heal thing , I think he had at least 2000 force left at the end of the longest fight. I always had all debuffs on him, burned him, blind etc
I suspect my problem comes from my TKM background. My natural tendancy is to get in there and mix it. Not a good idea I think
Any tips for experienced PvP CM's for this useless newb =D

yea no problem
remember you have the edge starting the battle on jedi missions--use this
prefood up --bofa, blob and spiced tea way in advance and then vesperagine before combat and have ruby biel ready [save the rest of your stomach for burst run food since EVERYBODY RUNS]
if your solo or grouped --make sure NO one damages the jedi until you are finished preping him--pull out your MED 110 droid have it on follow
so start with a paralyze macro--ie /paralzye, pause 15, paralzye
during this apply 2 debuffs per 15 seconds==>start with thy rupture (use enhancers always) then apply hemmorage--let pause finish and the macro will cycle for next paralzye
then apply electolyte drain and shock [and now add traumatize to this since jedi heals come from mind]
now your ready for fight--damage time DUMP YOUR MACRO NOW ; YOU know the first move he will make is to KD --so DO NOT SPAM YOUR SPECIAL--or you will get stuck on the ground --if you get kd --relax---wait for the animation to finish before using your kd recovery button
my first opening attack is dot--apply fire (if hes shocked this has better chance of sticking) followed up by a kd attack
then poison him--watch how he handles it --if he clears one or both --keep applying since they are force drains
at this point all these cm specials will reduce your mind to about half--so now switch to bh specials ( save your root for last resort) use blind and confusion [states may not work now but they will eventually] and adv crit shot as many times as you can [make sure you use low sac fwg is best]
as you start taking damage--use stim D first [have some janta ones made up for you] but wait until your health is 2/3 or half down before using it--you can also use these stim d while kd--remember this as it can save your life
now you just do the long haul dance--reapply debuffs as they break --most impt is thy rupture, hemmorage and now traumatize--but never apply dots or debuffs if your mind is lower than half way down---save half your mind for heals only
use them when your on the stim D timer (your droid if still in the area gives heal bonuses even if the droid is incapped)
just be patient--your there to wait out his force
if things are going sketchy--withold dots--they finishish in about 2.5min and then reapply the paralzye macro and SIT down--you will be able to during brief window after second paralyze application you stop combat briefly --your mind will regen fast! then get up debuff and regen then attack again--he can channel during this so make sure he is hemmorahged during this time

I've some spare Gorax tissues so Ive just contacted a wepsmith freind of mine to make me a nice F'weight FWG5. - Im now off to buy myself a nice med use droid

i would definately recommend the 4000 CM rather than any other one if you cant commit more skill points
healing by far is paramount in any jedi hit mission. I am mbh/mcm/pistols 0004 (which ill be dropping down to 0003 to pick up 2XXX in medic for stabilzers once states are fixed) and i routinely tank a knight for over 15minute battles before they take off or die as long as im not hit with the kd bug that doesnt let you recover.

You should go 0004 as post-pub 19 you can stop the jedi's mid regen hence the jedi can't heal.

im MBH/MRiflemen CM 0004 and i love it.
Thyroid Rupture makes it so that they cant hit you fast.
Electrolyte + Kneecapshot = they are not running anywhere.
Paralyse buys me some time to get out of thier range.
+10 and +5 ranged arms give me 80m range with rifle.
lovin it.
