There's no difference in the damage they do but there is still a difference between the two effects: if your target has poison resistance (which is included in a full buff set), it's better to use fire, since it will be more efficient and it will have more chances to actually apply on the target.
If there is a lot of water nearby (lakes, rivers), I think poison is better ; before CU, going in water would stop fire - I guess it's still the case but haven't witnessed it yet.

Yea but I always follow one up with the other no matter what anyway. Good points though

ok say in 1 group you have 2 cm's and 2 commandos

CM1 apply's fire

CM2 Apply's fire

Commando 1 applys fire

Commando 2 applys fire

Mob Ticks fire damage from CM1

Mob Ticks fire damage from CM2

Mob ticks fire damage from Commando 1

Mob ticks fire damage from Commando 2

if that was confusing, probably was i'm not too good at explainin stuff.... but pretty much all fire damage applied to a mob will stack as i have understood it... however only 1 kind of fire damage per person... not sure if say you are commando and cm if that will stack or not....

that help?

Do you need any kind of packs or anything to throw fire/poisons/or diseases. Or is it just the skill.
Or is it that there are enhancers which give you a better chance to stick.

skill all you need...

for poisen/fire the enhancers increase base dmg a tick by 50

so isntead of a 200-300 tick, its a 250-350 tick

I believe it's more along the lines of a 20% increase so thats basiclly correct
240-360 damage per.

Is there any difference at all in the effect oftheese two dots?

Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

There's no difference in the damage they do but there is still a difference between the two effects: if your target has poison resistance (which is included in a full buff set), it's better to use fire, since it will be more efficient and it will have more chances to actually apply on the target.
