Let me start with pre cu, I hated the CM / MR combo. I was not one, however, everytime I would try to macro grind afk I would see my combat log say a certian CM/MR on our server would poision my mind then head shot me. I'd be dead in like 3 hits. I was more jelious because it was the I win button of the game but i wanted to be another profession at the time. Then the CU came out and CM's could REZ I thought that would be cool to help my guild. I groud out MCM not respec but actually ground out the profession. I like it today, however, I'm very excited to hear about the changes in pub 19. Let me know what you think? (sorry of spelling errors I know they're there)

I'm confused about the part where the rifle/cm kills you while you're afk macroing.

Well I'd be grinding faction in the old overt system. He would go overt and kill me and my guildies several timeswith poision and head shot.

If nothing else I respect CM a lot more now.

It doesn't take a great deal to kill someone in three shots whatever profession you or they are if you were overt and AFK grinding.

What a very silly thing to do.

They wernt overt they were TEF'ed from killing faction NPC's.

The CM went overt and killed them.

why would someone come on the fourms and admit they where afk combat grinding..?

- I support NO DECAY.It should be run like EQ . No 20k price cap on the bazar and everyone can craft. Its has worked for 7 years on everquest and there is no decay plenty of money and no crazy prices.

Decay is only good for crafteres and bad for everyone else. <>

lol, to answer the guys question... i think CM is far better now. I wasCM pre-cu and just didnt like it. It was just too much of an "i win" profession and seemed too easy. In fact i went Doc/Rifleman because i hate CM so much so i could counter them in pvp. Now, i have gone back to CM. The profession is based more around debuffing than dots and even tho the dots are still good they are not overpowered. I enjoy the profession because it is avery tactical profession and since its damage output is lower than other professions it is all about wearing down your oponent in combat.

win by attrition. That is the key to CM post CU. I too am happy with the changes, it is good to have CMs for their heals not because of their 1k mind ticks lol. The CU put the Medic back in Combat Medic.
