For mind booster blue is nice (spice) but there are some other foods that add to mind.
To reduce heal timers get some ruby biel (sp). Also the timers are getting changed in pub 19 as well (reduced).

Grinding or low end PvE= Blob candy (+150 or higher), Caf (+120 or higher health 100mind) OR Spiced Tea (+150 or higher).
All of these are low fill, high duration foods. The cap on all regens provided from food are +200.Health regen and mitigation foods aren't generally needed at this level.
High content PvE or PvP= combo #1 or #2 + synthsteak (30/30 minimum) + Air Cake (+30 minimum) + Booster Blue (spice) + ruby bliel (optional but recommended) + your choice of Thundercloud (drink, +80 ranged defense minimum) or vergaspine (food, +80 melee defese minimum) or both if you can fit them.
Combo #1- Canape (+250hp +50hp regen +200mind regen), Blob Candy (+150 or higher Action regen)
Combo #2- Kiwik Clujso Swirl (+250hp +200 Action regen +50 mind regen), Spiced Tea (+150 or higher Mind regen)
*note: Ahrisa can be substituted for canape in combo #1
Combo 1 is better suited to CM's who plan on doing alot of healing and debuffing and less shooting. Combo 2 is the opposite and tailored for the CM who plans on using their other profession primarily with their CM skills as secondary (most notably dedicated to partial templates).
The MIND pool regens extremely slow so even with spice and a +200 food regen you still have to tend the blue bar if you are a healing/debuffing intensive type of player.
Hope this helps a bit.

Actually, the ruby bliel only halves stimpack usage, not bacta-related timers.

All you need for a good foodbuff is
- Crispic (melee/ranged acc)
- Bofa Treat (Health Regen)
- Blob Candy (action regen)
- Spiced Tea (mind regen)
- Pikata Pie (dodge) (or maybe Air Cake, not sure which one my combat toon has...)
- Elshandruu Pica Thundercloud (ranged def)
- Vegaparise (melee def)
- Ruby Biel (reduce stim's timer by 30sec)
- Pixie/Muon/Booster Blue (depends on your template)

Them red ones... they are broken and don't do anything at the moment. You can verify it by letting something smack you about that does consistant damage, like a cl60 mob, then take Vegeparsine and the damage doesnt change at all.

Apparently melee/ranged defence BE clothing is the same.

Afair ranged/melee def don't reduce the damage but makes it harder to hit you. I might be wrong, and I has changed with the CU, but that's what I do remember.

The chef correspondant has it as one of chefs issues so I'm inclined to agree with them.

The artisan foods are nice for grinding but in high content stuff you really want to max that +200 mark so pick and choose which style is best for you and use the combo'sI posted above. Also, I've played around with the bofa treats and they really dont seem to be worth the stomach fill unless you have no means of healing other than sitting down. Something CM's usually dont lack.
I'd also be careful weighing the advantage of crispic over other foods like synthsteak or exo-protein wafers.
