Combat Medic Archive
Thread: CM's single handedly determine GCW base fight outcomes.
You know it is funny, we have people come in here and complain that we are too powerful, we have others say we are not powerful enough.
My own experience of late has been that Combat Medics and Doctors are the deciding forces in the battle. If you have more of them than the opponent you win the battle, if you have less you lose. While there are Combat Medics out there that take the power approach and get the best of everything they can possibly get to make the most powerful poisons and diseases. This is by far not the norm. I think the problem is more with powergamers than the class itself. If all you ever see is the best of the best then certainly you are going to think we are overpowered.
What happens in reality is that players like myself are about the middle of the road, we have some decent weapons at our disposal, but frankly I have never had a poison that comes close to ticking for 800 mind. 300 is more like what my most powerful poisons are.
We are not the problem. The true problem is in the lame HAM system. Any attack that can hit a pool of hitpoints that cannot be buffed effectively and cannot be healed is going to be the most powerful in the game. Make the Mind bar healable and you will see the tide of battle change significantly and the power you are witnessing from Combat Medics and Riflemen will be nullified.
So in basic terms it is not the class that is broken in PvP it is the PvP system itself. We should be working to get that changed and things would be much much different.
