Doh! I liked it being pistols. But that's just because I was a mix of CM and Pistoleer. Of course, I'm not a Combat Medic anymore, so it doesn't matter much to me.

But everyone who is saying Ranged would give you more template flexibility or more choices... sure it would... at a cost of more skillpoints. If you liked using pistols, this change would be ideal since you would no longer need Ranged AND Pistols. And the Combat XP for Ranged is harder to get than Pistol XP. But, you do get some good general mods with Ranged Support and Overcharge Shot and it makes more sense for a ranged damage profession such as CM.

Anyway, my opinion on this means pretty much bupkis since I'm no longer a CM.

But, hey, Blixtev... you seem pretty reasonable... How about getting the Armor Smith resource requirements changed back to OQ / SR or something that would help out those AS who gathered all the old requirement materials with high OQ and SR. Plus Shock Resistance just plain makes sense. It's the ability for the material to absorb (or resist) shock. That suits the requirements of armor to a "T".





Actully, with the new pre-reqs for the marksman elites, it won't change the cost at all since they now need ranged support 4 AND there own weapon line.

I vote for 1 but i plan on usin TKM skills but pistol as back up is nice .
