I have a question about the Combat Medic profession. What is going to happen to us when the combat revamp comes out? I would also like to make a suggetion on something that has been troubling me with the profession.

1. A CM can apply poisens and diseases in the game BUT a CM cannot cure poisens and diseases; does anyone find thisjust a little funny? I fell that this is something that needs looking into and addressing because common sense would say if'I"have the knowledge (skill) to poisen and disease something shouldn't I have theablity to remove it?????

2. The disease meds are also very weak, I mean I am a +12 CM and still the diseases are nothing compaired to some of the NPCs in the game and I thought that might be something to look into

3. Also, if the poisen and disease healing is something that might be considered, then it should have the "area effect" ability as well.

4. I also fell that the Combat Medic profession needs to have the use of "fire blankets" as well. We are "combat" "medics" and players getting put on fire is something that happens in combat. I have heard rumors that this might be in testing but I haven't confirmed it.

5. Another idea is multiple stat poisens and diseases. Example: Health/Action poisen or Health poisen/disease (something to that effect.) It is just an idea I had from doing the Phase 1 medic quest. I can see that this might make the professions unbalanced but figured I should at least air-out my idea, b/c the only dumn ideas are the ones never mentioned

Anyways this is just something I thought of and want to pass along. Please let me know what you think and don't be afraid of "flaming" the ideas, I am a big boy and can handle it.

I have a question about the Combat Medic profession. What is going to happen to us when the combat revamp comes out?

Any detailsin the Combat Upgrade / Revamp / Balance is under an NDA

I would also like to make a suggetion on something that has been troubling me with the profession.

I fell that this is something that needs looking into and addressing because common sense would say if'I"have the knowledge (skill) to poisen and disease something shouldn't I have theablity to remove it?????

Some CMs would agree with you, however only doctors have this ability.

2. The disease meds are also very weak, I mean I am a +12 CM and still the diseases are nothing compaired to some of the NPCs in the game and I thought that might be something to look into

I'll agree with you for the most part, diseases on low to med-high end mobs is virtually pointless. However on some of the higher level mobs (NSE, Ancient Kyrat Dragons, ect)disease can be quite useful. Damage on disease is not only linked to CM effectiveness but also battle fatigue of the target. When a disease ticks it causes woundsand battle fatigue, basiclly with diseasethe amount of wounds recievedwill increase over time. Most fights don't last enough time to notice. With good diseases you can get multi-thousands ticks when the BF reaches 1000. Disease ticks every fourty seconds.

3. Also, if the poisen and disease healing is something that might be considered, then it should have the "area effect" ability as well.

Some CMs would agree with you, however only doctors have this ability.

4. I also fell that the Combat Medic profession needs to have the use of "fire blankets" as well. We are "combat" "medics" and players getting put on fire is something that happens in combat. I have heard rumors that this might be in testing but I haven't confirmed it.

Getting redundant I know but: some CMs would agree with you, however only doctors have this ability.

5. Another idea is multiple stat poisens and diseases. Example: Health/Action poisen or Health poisen/disease (something to that effect.) It is just an idea I had from doing the Phase 1 medic quest. This is interesting and also the first time I've heard of this brought forward as an idea. I'll certainly keep it in mind during the Combat Upgrade if we need additional offense.

Anyways this is just something I thought of and want to pass along. Please let me know what you think and don't be afraid of "flaming" the ideas, I am a big boy and can handle it.

And again, to everyone who applied, don't think badly of not being chosen. The fact you stepped up and applied in the first place says a lot about you

Well there's always the alpha. And I can still troll the other boards with impunity.

And to the +12 CM/TKM How exactly did you pull that off? Even with +25 tapes you'd only be an 11.5?
