Riflemen also goes very well with doctor, boost that blue bar to the sky and buff the rest of your stats.

The SWG cycle:
1 - "This game is AWSOME"
2 - "Oh MAN! That battle was AMAZING!"
3 - "I'm really getting sick of this grinding, but I'm almost there!"
4 - "I swear if that bug happens again, I'm quiting!"
5 - "Oh screw this! I'm quiting"
6 - Repeat from step 1

I might add that Im actually a MCM, not a doc... I actually made 150k the other day in the cantina. Someone paid me to disease a few people.

I basically took MCM because I wanted to be the most useful in the field. The general rule is, A Doc is usefull before and after combat, a CM is usefull during combat.

One of my friends, a master tk/master pistoleer/smuggler told me while discussing my character on shadowfire (Master Doc/Combat Medic (1044, dropped down from master), and pistoleer explained it this way .... if yr in a small enough group ... usually it's just him and me.... the buffs i give him are enough to keep him healed during any battle without needing to heal until after... the ranged and area stims are nice in cm but if yr able to buff everyone, not that necessary ... the question is this ... do you plan on going out in big groups or not ... I love my ranged when i'm out in big groups, however my character is pretty useless in pvp as i'm the first one that they go after and when paired with other power players, i have virtually no offense ... i'd say thank god for my comp armor but with that much need for mind, bh or not i usually get incapped by it anyway ....

I think i've gone off on another tangent now

NikkiDial has it correct. The Master box improves slicing, but the tool quality and other things do not.

im going doc for the buffs... look at it this way, you can shove all the stat points you can into the Mind and mind sub stats, then Just BUFF the others when you need it...

Well, I guess I have a twist to this..

2 PCs.. 3 accounts... Created a new char to be a Dancer/Doc. She will be an AFK dancer at our city cantina to ensure there's a healer there. My Rifleman can pop in, buff up on demand and head out. So he is going Combat Medic.

So I kinda have the best of both worlds.

as a rifle user your better off with 1100 mind and musician mind enhancements. the dancer ones only increase mind stats. with musician ones you can decrease the costs an astounding ammount and can basically spam HS3 with huge damage ham costs T21. so i would say doctor/rifle and your second character dancer/musician. by the time combat medic does anything you can kill the guy with a rifle 6 or 7 times. i would say that combat medic is a waste of skillpoints for rifle unless your into healing others in a group. solo it is a waste and superflous.

Rifleman/Combat Medic right here.

Do you PVP? Use area disease, area poison, (die, heh), clone, come back in with your rifle. Keep in mind that If you master both profs you will have 4 skill points left to use. Doctor may be more useful, but I doubt it would be as fun.
