So basically your message boils down to bring a doctor or rifleman or both or you deserve to die ? Pretty gung-ho for a paramedic, don't you think ?

What ever gave you the idea that CMs were paramedics? I would rather suggest that Medics are the SWG version of a paramedic. CM are obviously not that or they would never have been given Posions and Diseases to use in the first place (and that's ignoring things likethe "Chemical Warfare Specialist" in the CM available titles.)

I would suggest that you not look to Western medical philosophies for what medics would or would not utilize in warfare. This is not American medical pratices we are talking about, this is a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Modern western sensibilities do not apply. They don't even apply on our very own planet in certain cultures.

Another person coming to the forum and talking through his "better" end.

No other class can solo a whole group in PvP other than CM spamming mind poison and one-shotting everyone in sight.

Solo a whole group now? Interesting, how do we "solo" a whole group, when AoE poison does not incap? Furthermore, even if we had a weapon skill, a "whole group" could kill me before my DoT kills them.

Even if the CM gets killed he will have his mates shoot down all survivors that try to flee with 1 point left in mind.

Ahh now we are no longer "soloing" are we. See one minute you are saying that we can "solo" a whole group, next you say that even if we are dead our friends can kill you off. Well then the last time I looked if I have friends around, I am not exactly soloing am I?"

Please give poison the ability to incap a whole raid in 2-3 ticks.

I think we should be able to incap with poison. Maybe AoE is too strong, maybe not. That would depend on resource availability. Personally I have not found the resources on Ahazi that I need to create the "group soloing" mind poisons that you speak of, but I am looking.

Of course since I do not have enough skill points left over for surveying. I have to rely upon someone else finding the spots for me. Well that is part of being a CM I guess. No problem "I" happen to be able to adapt.

Please give poison unlimited range so you can sit at home crafting stims and still wipe out that raid over in Anchorhead.

Are you stooping so low as to be elluding to the range bug that will most certainly be fixed? It has been declared that CM should not be able to throw of 64 meters, they will fix it, further belly aching is not going to help you get it done any faster.
Please give all CMs an "I win" button so they will stop complaining.

Who's complaining? YOU are the one coming here crying that CMs need a nerf, we are telling you reasons why we don't need one. Yeah you can go to any board you want, post anything you want without knowing the facts if you want to. Heck, everyone else does it, why not be as ignorant as the rest of them.

But then again, maybe, just maybe if you read some of the things that Combat Medic is dealing with. You researched what it takes to create these poisons and diseases, maybe even if you started "PLAYING" the class a little bit you might see that we are not as powerful as you think we are.

Of course, that would be a lot of work, it seems much easier just to come here and spout your nonsense and ignorance about the class.

Did i say i haven't played a combat medic or did you simply assume that?
And yes, they are currently *very* unbalancing in PvP if in the right hands.
To the rest of your amusing vociferations nothing worth saying, they speak for themselves. Only worthy of a good toilet flush.

I never said a combat medic should not carry a gun. To the contrary, he should. That should be his weapon as a combat medic ( soldier specialized in medical treatments ).

CM are obviously not that or they would never have been given Posions and Diseases to use in the first place

Which makes them chemical warfare specialists. And a chemical warfare specialist and a medic are as far apart as a rifleman and a musician. Both use vaguely staff-like items. Those two parts don't go together in any picture I can summon of a "combat medic".

I would suggest that you not look to Western medical philosophies for what medics would or would not utilize in warfare. This is not American medical pratices we are talking about, this is a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Modern western sensibilities do not apply. But then, a galaxy far, far away was modeled after western philosophies.

I'm not saying nerf combat medics. I could care less, I'm not a PvPer. I'm just saying that the class labeled combat medic is mislabeled, because half of it would never be utilized by a soldier with a medical specialization. Administering biological agents and WMDs has never been the task of the guy with the red cross ( or crescent for that matter ) on his helmet.

A combat medic in my view is someone who can practice his craft of healing people under dire conditions while being shot at on the field. Even bringing people back to live after fatal wounds. People researching and administrating poison gas or other agents are another class. Maybe Bio-engineers, maybe commandos.

Its not that we dont suffer the PvP reduction, i say the PvE DoT is bugged. Yes bugged, it should do double in PvE and stay exactally the same in PvP. Theres your reduction.

Another thing to add to what is being statedabout whatnvoigtwrote is that IF combat medics were supposed to be completely focused on healing, those of us who play CM (yes, you're busted) all know that ranged stims are horribly bugged, thus often defeating the purpose of being a healing-based class. one would think that if CM was healing-based, the Dev's would've put more work into messing with the ranged stims and mind heal (also rough)than dealing with PvP poison/disease issues...not saying that the Dev's have been neglecting us, just saying that i would think that thier priorities would tell us something.

So to sum it up, there is no way that you can convince us that you are a CM nvoigt if you do not understand the issues that plague the profession, but props for trying
