i was surprised how easy my group did it...i was trying to organize this big group with at least 2 jedi knights...as seeing i thought they would have beent he best against the 2 big guys...they still would have been...but not needed
my group consisted of me (4333 tk master doc) another master doc novice tk (neither of us fought, we just kicked back sending stim e's and /quickheals
the combatants were a master rifleman almost master cm...(just before doing this he went to the village and trained 2 free branches...and had to drop master cm and a skill or 2 i beleive)...a tkm/master swordsman and a tkm/master brawler/master fencer (or something like that)
bascially the rifleman concealed shot the mercs wihtout them agroing...took out 2 crystals with no aggro...then we went in after the other 2 crystals...the 25k ham dude came at us and we concentrated on the mind...rifleman/cm threw his mind poisons and then did his highest dmg mind attacks (not sure what its called)...the tkm/swordsman went at him with headhits (swordsman) and the other went at him with headhits (tk)...whoe fight maybe took 20 minutes...most of that time was trying to take out the mercs and crystals without being noticed...
i suggest no armor when u go up against mellichae...as he uses his LS and might as well notuse armor that is useless against it for those extra stat points...1 guy died to mellichae...but we rezed him...thats when we started using the /quickheal skill cuz we had no wait time on using it...mellichae started hitting harder towards the end as well...all in all u dont need much...a def stacker or2 for tanking and then whatever professions u want that will attack the mind...concentraing on the same stat is important (i say mind cuz tha was the best tactic we could come up with)...
if you don't use armour against him doesn't that mean his LS gets AP2? (as opposed to 0AP with armour)

What happens if you die but are rezed? And someone earlier metioned not using feign death and I just wondered why. Hopefully I should be taking a trip to see him over the weekend. I'm currently Master TK Master Snmuggler. I don't plan on trying to solo it and have managed to pursuade a few friends to help me out hopefully I will live

Thanks for the correction!
I think this stuff is pretty hard to find. I picked some up as a curiosity when I saw it on a chef's vendor. The only time I've ever found a use for it was to kill Mellichae.

just keep trying things like logging off, going to different planets, it helps. that is what happened to me and i kept doing that stuff and it spawned (very bugged because i could only see 2/4 crystals)

answer can be found in ctrl h but if you dont feel like looking i will tell you the answer since this happened to me also. you must submit a im stuck tickett to get the highest priority and tell them your mel mission is broken and it says in the holocron to submit the tickett that way.

I was wondering how long it took the people who killed mellichae to kill him I keep hearing people talking about how it took them a hour and a half but when i helped out my two friends on the same day each one was no less than 20 mins after the rifleman started attacking the crystals. I am wondering how long it took others.
