I have to disagree that this is good for those who wish to play the role of healer. PC and NPC will target the healer and the will be dead befor they can heal thier first damage dealer group mate.

As a healer, once your out of action your dead and when it cost 1/3 of your action pool to heal someone from incap you can expect to be out of action quickly.

Maybe.

The recovery rate of action is 3,3% per second unbuffed.

My personal favorite buffcombo increases this recovery rate with +35%, which meansabout 4,5%. With 4,5% per second I recover one bactashot (15%) in just about 3,5 seconds. Now consider Bacta Jab AND Bacta Shot (15+13=28%). I recover this combo in about 6,5 seconds. Even if I would spam bactajab/bactashot back and forth like crazy, I still wouldnt use up more than half percent of action every 6 seconds.

Now if I blend in attacks in this, it would be a whole other matter. But if I keep myself to just using Bacta Jab / Bacta Shot I would probably never run out of action. Dropping an occasional Bacta Spray in the mix however... or Bacta Infusion... that would stir up a bit. Luckily it's possible to take a few seconds break mid-combat if action is an issue. A full actionbar is replenished in just 30 seconds when standing up. That becomes about 19,5 seconds with my favorite buff.

Is it good? Well, to someone who wants to play healer, it sure stings a bit... But to the one who want to mix it with damagedealing - it stinks. And that offers me some satisfaction.

That's all nice and well, until someone uses force sap or the Fencer equivalent on you.

In any case, this has been removed (for now) from TC. I suspect it's going to pop back up in some form soon, though.

I hope this healing issuenever comes back. After the SQL changes. Those guys are going to be everywhere pumping out major damage. I see SQLeaders pimping themselves out to people that want to be in a group just to get the buffs for pvp. But i dont see issue with healing right now. It's only thingkeeping us weak docs alive.I hope they dont bring this back!

See, the action costs make healers more valuable since folks will be less able to heal themselves and thus need a dedicated healer of either flavor.
