I ran some tests last night in an attempt to see how a 110 med droid and a +18 Healing Efficiency shirt might affect healing. I'm a MCM/TKM and ran 4 sets of trials (1 with no benefits, 1 with the droid only, 1 with the shirt only, 1 with both the droid and the shirt) for each of the following heals: Bacta Shot, Advanced Bacta Spray, Advanced Bacta Toss. Each trial I did 5 heals, which is all I had patience for.

Here are my results:

Bacta Shot

No Benefit: 474.2 average

Shirt only: 504.00 (6.28% above No Benefit)

Droid only: 604.00 (27.37% above No Benefit)

Both:634.8 (33.87% above No Benefit)

Advanced Bacta Spray

No Benefit: 489.6 average

Shirt only:489.4 (0.04 % below No Benefit)

Droid only:611.0 (24.80% above No Benefit)

Both:630.6 (28.80% above No Benefit)

Advanced Bacta Toss

No Benefit:618.6 average

Shirt only:657.4 (6.27% above No Benefit)

Droid only:790.2 (27.74% above No Benefit)

Both:813.4 (31.49% above No Benefit)

I'm not happy with the Advanced Bacta Spray numbers, they don't make complete sense. There's a 4% bump between Droid Only and Both and I'd expect to see similar results between No Benefit and Shirt Only since in both cases I just added the shirt.

At any rate, it appears that a +18 Healing Efficiency shirt adds around 6% to at least Bacta Shot and Bacta Toss. Similarly, a 110 med droid adds around 25% to all three heals and the droid and the shirt together appear to have an additive effect.

BTW, I didn't have the droid grouped and none of the lvl 17-18 MOBs that were attacking me paid any notice to him. This wouldn't work as well for PvP, obviously, but for PvE having a droid out may be a viable option. Also worth noting is that I was unable to get more than 6 MOBs aggro'd on me at once, even if I was attacking a 7th he totally ignored me.

Ok Little confused here. I need to know excatly how to get Med XP with Combat medic. There appears to be no pattern when I get xp. I had thought that I only got it when I was in combat and healed. I once got xp out of combat while healing someone in a group, and upon several occasions did not recieve xp for healing in combat. Also I did not notice any XP for poison or desiease throws on combat. Seems to me that a CM should get Med xp for offensive use of his/her powers. Has anyone noticed this or have come up with a deffinet way to grind CM?

I like the rather unique ability CMs have to poison, infect, set on fire etc a Jedi that is using the horrendously gay ability to cloak themselves. LOL

Last night, I did fire-paralyze-poison on a sith shadow. Once he died it gave me medical xp. although on several other occasions I didn't get a notice of getting any xp so I am not sure if I received xp in those other instances or not.

I looking for tips on healing without gaining crazy aggro...

I'm MRM/MCM with Doc 4000 -- I grind on avatar platform with my guild, and I'm having significant issues healing our tanks without gaining sufficient aggro. I'm not sure if it's a lack of lockdown/crowd-control on the part of our tanking professions... or just the combination of MRM with healing....

I am using bacta infusion (I made the switch to Doc 4000 after reading the forums since the server was down) -- but without a droid, it is always as effective as I need it to be to keep up ranged and tanks

Also - avatar platform has a large amount of aoe dmg'ing mobs... so using a droid that has a combat module installed is pointless - some droid engineer recommended that on a post I saw about the healing efficency with droids / enchancer / be-wear ... HORRIBLE idea..

Thanks for any tips or pointers on this

I have the ability to place a hospital.

Why would I want to do this?

How do you stack /Bactashot /Bactaspray?

I'm guessing they meant to make a macro that would execute the commands one after another. Put the icon in your toolbar.
