My BH is MBH, MCM, Rifles 4000. Only root I have is paralyze. Thats worthless once I dot the jedi. I took the accuracy line of rifle which gives me headshot and increased accuracy when using my rifle. I usually start out by paralyze debuffs then get out of range poison and fire. After that I try to stay out of saber throw range and shoot/heal until they or I die. I think this template will be more effective once they fix no action cost sabers. As a jedi though, I think its a slap in the face to drain action and force to do a saber hit. They already increased the force cost big time. Adding action on top makes sabers even more weak.

My other template had the accuracy line of carbines. I traded this for rifles to gain the range. Plus the rifle line gave more accuracy than the carbine line. My poison/fires tick for over 300 each. Nice little bonus damage while you are shooting them with your gun.

Using enhancers makes quite a difference in the tick from what I can tell. So maybe try that. I a good start for combat is underhand shot, then the knockdown, then the ticks.

Just another thought. I have been reading pretty extensively on the other forums and may even respec my character to

MBH, MCM, and Rifle 4000

I hear this is a truly awesome combo. Then we dont have to worry about the heals/ticks/etc as we would be at master level. Any thoughts on that?

Okay, now after testing, forget dabbling in CM, i am now full combat medic and dabbling in Rifles, lol. I cannot believe how much fun i have had dueling using MCM, MBH, Rifle 4000. This is a truly fun combo. Good heals, fun ticks, arse kickign BH and Rifle specials...cant ask for much more!

I have actuallly only dueled jedi. It seemed to go over really well. Especially since most cannot heal the fire tick. And few the poison. A near master Defender seemed hard to apply the ticks too but I shuold be winning most duels if I start playing more intelligently. As is, I won some, lost some. But, most importantly, I was having a lot of fun.

I respec'd to the bio warefare line the other night (0003). Here's a few observations after testing against a couple reb npcs:

Paralyze - lasted 10 seconds for me. I also had to be at what seemed to be melee range in order to use it. It also broke when applying thyroid rupture and electrolyte drain. I was under the impression that it would only brake if the target takes damage.

Thyroid Rupture & Elec. Drain - At this level I didn't notice much of an effect. It would probably make more of a difference against melee. I had to be at fairly close range for these too. Not as close as paralyze though.

you sure you didnt have a default attack on? if you did that is why the paralyze broke--not because of the other two debuffs

Applying debuffs breaks paralyze.

My testing has shown that debuffs do not break paralyze. You just need to make sure you do not defalt attack inbetween the debuffs.

Test it out. Unequip your weapon then paralize a mob and then toss some debuffs. You will be able to get 3 debuffs on before the paralize runs out.

MBH - MCM - Carbs 3100 (for more speed and cripple shot, or 4000 for just more speed).

or

MBH - MC - Combat Medic 4000

I am so torn right now. I keep switching back and forth, I can't decide if I want to dabble or go MCM lol. I have been testing the difference between MCM and 4000 heal wise and its fairly close imo, not much of a difference there. The real question for me is will I be more effective with poisens or with more carbine skill (accuracy, speed should be negligeable). I think I would be better with MCM, but the lower accuracy kind of bothers me as it seems pretty significant. Most of the ability loss by not going master carbines I can make up for in abilities of MBH/MCM. I am just not sure on accuracy.

How much accuracy do you need?

My tests have shown also that if your going to dabble in CM it's best as 4000. I spent a lot of time trying to apply poisens/fire and loosing health not being master. Master they still missed quite a few times, but usually not that bad.
