Unless its a mind disease that ticks for 300 every 6 seconds...cause only entertainers can heal that....and only in camps or cantinas....

Yes but master headshot cant hit 12 people all at once even when you're dead!

What if the the devs renamed Combat medics to something like Bio-Warriors? would you sleep better knowing you got beat by a Bio-Warrior? instead of having you crying yourself to sleep as a medic kicked you assas he'd found a weakness in yourunhitable god like template!!





I guess you could say i have an "unhitable god like template" (Pistoleer and Fencer for ranged and melee abilities), but in my opinion defensive templates do nowhere near as much game-balance compromising than Combat Medics. Sure, with my pistol I might only hit a stacker 1 of every 5 times I fire (while I am actively kiting with -50 modifier to accuracy), but this provides for long andinteresting battles where some degree of skill becomes eventually evident in the outcome of the fight. Instead of basically just sitting down and dying (nothing else to do really, once you're poisoned you are already dead) when you realize you are fighting against a CM, a fight against a defense stacker involves the use of a good deal of one's abilities in order to emerge victorious, while all a CM has to do to win is.. well you already know that. Waiting patiently here for nerf and largescale migration of bandwagoners from CM to the next FOTM iwin template.

But your mind shot can be thrown farther than we can shoot, isnt effected by armor, resists ANYTHING.

Your mind shot does the same damage over and over GURANTEED, whether the person throwing it dies or not.

Rifleman is overpowered, and CM STILL BEATS IT.

Cms are overpowered, end of story.

As a Master CM I have one thing to say to all you people who think I'm so uber as poison/disease thrower. I get the living hellbeat out of me. I have NO (AS IN NONE AT ALL) defenses vs melee or ranged attacks. As soon as they see the "you have been diseased/poisoned" spam I become a walking target. I get 10 people shooting or punching me...and all at my mind pool too(cant tell you last timeI got incapped to health/action).So I am a support character and as a Master Doc even more so. Now a CM/Melee or Ranged Profession is better, but now you cant cure when another CM hits you with the AIDS. So its who's mind poison is better when CM fights CM....ah but wait thats right I'm a Doc so cure poison myself and I let my friends take care of the rest. Its not my fault all you uber dulers are not Doc's b/c thats a waste of skill pts and would make you gimp cause you can't stack your defenses then. Don't whine nerf to the dev's b/c a Hybrid support profession can take you out of a fight when all you need is the Elite Doc profession to cure it. Oh and as a Master Doc all I can say is CM's are CREAM PUFFS! One cure-c and its bye-bye bad stuff.


I fear combat characters not support....I already am the best TWO support professions in the game.

Yes you die as a CM, but you still take out groups of folks while you are dead. Add to that a clone center and you can defend your entire base playing clone wars. Most of us agree that CM's will die in pvp, its just that even when you are dead you are taking out entire groups of people. Power huh?

Really. When I hit a group with poison and if I dont have friends with me I lose. You see since half of flurry is TKA/Riflemen they just cause savage mind bleeds on me. Im forced to run back behind our mines and healup. And whats the poisoned group I just hit doing MEDITATEING. Why just yesterday I saw somebody take a knee and meditated away my poison/disease before the 2 DoT tick. And I know my stuff lasts more than 20 sec . By the way they incap me a lot I dont know about this running out of the cloner.

Realistically, both Commando's and Combat Medics are support personnel. Neither are mainstream front-line forces.


However, this game strays quite far from reality.

AOE poison - is.... let's spell this out for you kindergarten nerfherders... AREA OF EFFECT POISON


Cure C i is.... SINGLE PERSON CURE


Let's see - inject some reality, just for comparison sake - Gas the subway in Tokyo, EVERYONE gets sick... doctor has to heal them ONE AT A TIME.


I don't see an aerosol cure in today's society.


I agree SOMEONE should get it... my vote is CM, but DOC would work too (for me at least)... but I think DOCs have enough love for now.


Get a CM in your group with an AOE poison CURE, and I think everyone will be happy... except you nerfherders that think you should be able to solo everything in the game (a MULTIPLAYER game, which the Dev's WANT to be interdependant) without getting a scratch on your pretty toon.

You know it is all really quite riduclous, combat medics. Even one on my own side I thought was complete bull. 4 imps came into our cantina, I had wounds out my ass so couldnt really do anything, although I do like to chase people with my hammer, whenever I can, to see how long I last before they can kill me. I trash talked the imps right back. a dude I was fighting in kor vella with a master fencer, who was overt, walked in the back and was quickly killed. another overt passes the outside of the cantina, and all 4 go outside, and so do I, all I see is the guys spreading out, and whoever my rebel friend was, I never saw him, the 2 commandos, and bio engineer, and pistoleer were sitting their asking for a doctor to heal them now, because they all had to stop combat and get themselves healed of the disease. This is riduclous, a 4 to 1 margin especially with TWO master hybrid professions present, should result in that one persons death. If this was not combat in the middle of a city, the 4 imps would all be wounded all to hell, for none was even a doctor. The group had absolutely NO chance of fighting back. This is the reason you cannot call pets, open crates, call speeeders, and other things during combat for it facilitates cowardly moves, that cause a lot of people annoyance, and is demonstratively grossly unfair.

Use of Poison results in a unviersal tef, even with thtose you are grouped with, death therefrom results in permadeath.
