Thread: To the Combat Medic Correspondant : Is Havla functioning as intended?

Secondly and more specifically, think about the mechanics behind Havla. It reduces, for lack of a better term, a generic "medical" timer that each character has. Anything that the game has tagged as a medicine is going to be affected by it (out of curiousity, has anyone used havla with pet stims?). I believe that buffs and poisons are considered medical supplies (in addition to the "healing" supplies like cures and heals), so when havla affects the generic timer, it affects all of these. Don't know how deep the coding is to make category changes like this, so not sure how high on the to-do list it might be (if the devs are entertaining any changes in the first place).
This should be possible to change without huge code changes. I do not believe that there is a general medical timer. Instead, there appear to be 3 separate timers (healing, ranged healing, and wound), each with their own base time and each with their own skill mod that affects the timer. If skills can affect the different healng speeds differently (for example, notice as one advances in medic that wound healing speed stays the same even as regular damage healing speed improves), the food should be targeted as well.
Now, one problem might be that poisoning and ranged healng are on the same timer (I don't know this for afact, but I supsect it's true). We may lose fast area stim throwing if we lose fast poison throwing (while docs maintain fast regular stim throwing). Considering how damaging havla is with poisons, I can live with this.
And the most likely reason you're getting 1 starred is due to your numerous 'nerf' posts which, quite frankly, are rather tired and simply retreads of past 'nerf' cries.
First, I wasn't 'defending' anyone. Simply stating that ANY combat profession is capable of griefing.
Second, not everyone who isn't a CM that posts here does so to cry nerf. Never said that were.
On Havla, as I said, it's already been reported. Complaining about it here isn't going to get it changed any faster. Bringing it up as a reason to 'nerf cms' isn't going to get it, or the profession, changed.
On the probable reason you get 1 starred. Rehashing old arguments, flat out stating CM needs to be removed, et al. ALL of those arguments, which you yourself have spewed, are indeed tired arguments.
Read whatever you wish into this post, as I'm sure you will, but the facts remain the same.
I'll make no further replies to you on this subject.

That havla 9 stat grief is specific to CM and no other combat profession can do that.
The poster even said he was doing it to grief. Regardless of my previous posts I said griefing is bad, which it is, I find it quite absurd a correspondent would defend someone who out-and-out says he goes out to grief other players.
I know you guys love your win button, who wouldnt, but as tired as you all are of people giving there own opinions on the gameplay in the CM forum(which they are allowed to do without you dubbing them all as nerf cryers)... think of how tired people are of griefers like your friend earlier in this post who goes out to grief another player.
How do we take a person seriously, that has a "Please Nerf CM's" link in their signature? The issue has already been addressed, and is being pressed on by the CM Correspondent has they stated.
CM is not a win button. To some people it is, but for people like me I actually like the idea of healing players from a range. I'm not in it to disease every player, and as mentioned in another thread, I would find it extremely useful if CM was the only healing profession during combat.
I do however thing CM is overpowered, and I've been a victim of it many times before. I just have to learn to accept it, and please know it's not wrong to use a profession's abilities to your advantage, but there isa problem when the Dev's let you take it to this extent.
