It takes about 5 hours to get master combat medic, after you get the Ranged support done. It only takes about2 hours to get 30k combat xp if you have another master class.

CM is one of the easiest classes to master. Do not compare your self to BH or Commando, as ive done both. The only class that i can think of that can be done faster is Image Designer. Maybe we should give them 500 damage a tic hairspray because it takes some of their precious skill points.

What is your point? ANY class can be mastered and macroed to Master. I made TKA 4404 in 5 days of casual play with 900k xp maxed out to boot. A commando can flame their way through their whole profession. A BH is not all combat XP either. Since when does Master Scout have anything to do with combat? hmm? The only hard part about BH is the investigation tree as any weapon experience is a total joke to get in this game.

not to put a downer on you're theory about combat xp but I've found it incredible easy to get as a CM, it was harder to get the medical xp i needed to complete the class.

thats probably because you needed 10 times as much medical XP as combat XP.......that was kind of the point.

one branch in CM should require the same amount of Combat XP other combat classes require for their combat branch..... ie 80k for level 1, 100k level 2, 125k level 3, 150k level 4 etc

if that happened.....then i could see calling it a "combat" class more appropriate.......till then, its a support role that happens to be overpowered in a combat sense.

A Coreman is just as likely to shoot you as anyone else in an enemy platoon is.

i still have it yet to be explained why CM's think they deserve such high class combat potential, when they require a trifle of the XP to master said "combat class" compared to all other combat classes.

This here is a clear statement of cluelessness. CM's are third in game for point requirements only beat out by BH, yet tied with Commando. We use 169 points to Master Combat medic, and to use AOE poison(of any value) you have to be master. Most of our skills points are put into speed, range and effectivess same as any ranged or melee profession does to use their weapons. Devs have said on 2 occasions now that CM damage is fine, Ill take their opinion and ideals over your whiney complaintsany day. If you are going by titles as your basis for argument, explain why CM's have the title "Chemical Warfare" in it

The problem is, it is one of the most easily mastered professions, yet it is hands down, the most powerfull.

Oh is that the only problem? Have you ever been a CM yourself? CM might be one of the most easily mastered. But it is the hardest to maintain. Our burrnout rate is the highest of any other profession excluding pure crafting classes. Why? Because while the potential is high only the most dedicated CMs can actually grasp that potential.

Wait a second here. We are NOT a combat class? Why do we have poisons? They seem to have no non-combat uses what so ever? Clearly the Devs must have hade some plan behind them?

A misstake was done, however not to include a branch of Combat XP skills in the Combat Medic Tree. But on the other hand Rifleman doesn't have to fill up a branch of Crafting XP so that evens out.

A lot of people point to the manual and read aloud the bit about Combat Medic that is stated in there. But as far as I have understood CMs have always had the poisons. At least always from the inception of the Live game (whaever existed in the Beta is a moot point) so this argument has no value whatsoever. No, nil, null, zip, zilch, keine, ingen.

So, if we examine the evidence here:

1) We are called Combat Medic. We have the titles "Chemical Warfare Specialist" and"Toxicologist".

2) We have had Poisons and Diseases from the start. There are regarded as some of the more powerfull weapons in the game. We have them. No one else. Obviously the developers wanted us to have a not purely defensive function.

3) We do gather Combat Xp. I would like to take the time to remind you that to become a Novice Rifleman you need exactly 0 combat Xp but to become a Novice Combat Medic you need to gather 35k or so of it. And gathering Combat XP is actually harder at low levels than at high levels. (this can be circumvented by attaining Novice Elite Fighter before Novice Combat Medic, I know, but that is a matter of how you plan your character)

We can accertain that your assumption that we are a Non-combat class (Like doctors, dancers, tailors and other rag-tags) is dead wrong. Thank you for calling, do please try again when you have gathered evidence.

Well you may not be 12, but you certainly need to act older, and lay off the ritalin. It sounds like youa re trying to spew a bunch of thoughts into a page giving it no thought -- made my brain hurt correcting your grammar and making your posts readable. The first step to getting most people to listen to you is presentation, the way your post looks, and how it is organised.

Once again it just comes down to the fact that people grind out the profession, think its easy and never stick around to really be a CM. Such as getting all the resources, which could take up to a couple of MONTHs just to get a spawn of everything needed. Not even talking about decent stuff to work with

I have been a MCM for a couple months now. When I pvp I am throwing poisons disease then healing my group, for without them I am an easy target. In pve, I may toss a poison or two, if we are agroed by a bunch at once. This is to just help take the edge off anything. In pve I am in the role of support. In pvp i am in the role of combat. The team I play with on a regular basis knows that if we are pvping, the docs better have lots of rez packs for me, because I am going to die fast andoften. While we are pveing theyrush in and never concern themselves with either health or mind, because they knowI am watching, ready with that area heal or the mind healbefore they incap.

I am spent these months as a combat medic searching for those "uber" stat spawns of the resourcesI need. My entire guild also helps me to gather meat. Example, some good insect meat spawned, I was told and no less than7 people went on an impromptuhunt and gathered the meat for me.When the surveyors in my guild come across high stat resources, they always stick it in guildchat to see who uses that and if it is needed. Teamwork is great.

Combat medic is both a combat and a support class. I think it really just depends on what you tend to do in the game.
