Welcome to Star Wars Galaxies, friend! An massive, multiplaying, online game, which is not based upon the real world, nor has anything to do with reality.
Keep some perspective. This is a game, not real life. If each class did what a real-life counterpart could do, well...I hope you find 1-shot kills appealing. And once you die... KAPUT.

Maybe 300 or so max poison damage in PvP more in PvE. I dont really see much problem with that. You'll be able to help out your group but not be too devastating.

Well then we are not as overpowered as you would have everyone believe. To get the most powerful poisons out there right now, we have to have some of the rarest materials in the game. We went a period of four months before Tolium gas spawned on Ahazi, and even then it was only 240 quality.
Without full advanced components a 300 tick is about average. So we are about where we should be.

There wasnt any Gallinorian Rainbow Gem Cry. Gemstone on Starsider for a long time either. What the **edit** is your point?

I've seen people try the ultra-flame. it doesnt stop them, it encourages them.
