Thread: CMs need 75% reduction but need compensated.

The thread reads "CMs need 75% reduction"...not 75% reduction in power. If the thread was meant to be focusing on power alone, it should have been stated in the thread. If that were the case, I wouldnt even have posted in this thread. Just wanted to voice my opinion on things i have noticed as of late.

Thank you for clearing that up. I am not a CM and never come to this forum. I just came here to post about some stuff i had noticed and the thread seemed to fall in line with what i needed to voice my opinion on. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Balls, it's alright. You also have to understand that the CM community is a little on edge right now. We have had our message board hijacked by the nerf callers for the last three or four months and are tired of it. Most of the time it is people that have no idea of how the class is and how hard it is to do the things we do. Yet they come here and continuosly post the same broken-record arguments over and over and over again. The most frustrating thing is that most of these people will not take the time to do a little reading to come up to speed on things before they simply post about it, and that is very frustrating for us.


We all have also played this game enough to know that when people start screaming nerf, the devs usually just do it to quiet the community, whether the profession needs a nerf or not. They tend to do that instead of balancing the class in another way.


The CM community has acknowledged the range issue and have no problem with range being taken to what it should be taken to. So to kind of answer your question, the devs are aware of the problem, but whether we get a fix or not on this subject no one can tell.

HOLD UP THERE PARTNER! If the CM profession got a 75% damage reduction in PvP, then remove all the new poison and disease resistance items and chef foods that recently were added to the game... they should also get a 100% damage increase in PvE. CM is totally gimp even right now in PvE. ALSO... all poison/disease DOT weapons get the 75% decrease in their DOT ALSO! Because if they don't, any shmuck with one of these will be applying more powerfull and damaging poisons than the best combat medic. 169 skillpoints in a stick. NO TO THAT **edit**!



I TOLD them they should have made our spherical space station out of the same magnetically shielded walls as the garbage compactor! -Sleksheea
