That's why I have my hotkey bar double rowed with:

(rightmost)

Two single stims, 4 area stims, and 2 ranged stims.

(center)

In the center I have my Cures(single target for now, haven't gotten around to making the area versions), Rezkits(2), and state cures(dizzy/stun/intimidated/blind).

(leftmost)

Poisons(1 each of the Area/Singles) and 2 diseases(mind area/single)

I like the macros myself, although I do keep most cures hotbarred. I run a quick lil pvp macro to keep me up from the most dangerous things, namely its a simple peace, cure poison self, heal dizzy self and a healdamage self. Everything else I can just hotbar.

Here is a question tho, I pretty much only carry area stims, so even tho I just use em on myself, why don't they still do the area thing? It would be nice if it went off, usually I stay close to the fight so when I hit someone else, the heal gets me too.

That's what the other toolbar panes are for

LOL

Being that your main is both Doc/CM do you also put buffs in the toolbar?

That is one med that makes sense to me to be in the toolbar since it is a quick way to make sure you hit all six stats without having to ask the person you are buffing if you got them all.

The only reason i use a macro is I have trouble when I go to heal myself without using a macro in battle. Sometime I hit escape to lose my target but I continue to target what I am fighting and not myself....and then the heal command is wasted.

If you use the whole "/healdamage self" command in a macro, then it works every time

As for my toolbar, it changes depending upon what I am doing. All of my range and AoE healing stims are in a backpack and I have 1-2 regular stim Es in my main inventory to use as default heals. 2-4 hotkeys are used for Ranged ans AoE stims. 1 spot for healmind, one spot for meditate (after using healmind). I 'usually' type out powerboost. /follow is used to get close enough to a target to use healmind and is hotkeyed. On occasion I use /dragincappacitated to heal mind, but used that more often when i had doc to res people to pull them out of the melee first.

2-4 hotkeys for poisons. A 5th for low damage high range pulling single poison if I am soloing

Hotkeys for:

stand

equilibrium (I love being a zabrak....throw a 2.5k heal on yourself then hit this key)

force of will

attack

peace

a couple of tka special moves

first aid

Yep. I have a second toolbar Pane that has the 6 woundpacks on the top row, left. Then the 6 buffpacks top row right.

Below the woundpacks I have a couple of F&C Tools.

When I solo or run in a small group I have a different toolbar pane that has my poisons(area/single), HAM diseases(area/single), some stims(area/ranged/single) a rezkit, poison/disease cure and some brandy.

The first toolbar pane I posted about is my big group one. Lets me focus on the healing and an occassional poison/disease when needed.

I take it Texxie you did not put any points into weapon skills then?

I have pistols 4 and some speed and accuracy tapes so I can hold my own, but if I set myself up like you I would not have room to hot key my pistols or specials

I need no weapon skills! That's what CM is for *nods*

I ran out of points as I started taking the free FS Branch unlocks(2 of them). Melee and Range D, 9 sp total I believe.

Going to eventually be dropping some doc down if I ever get around to training any more FS boxes.
