Actually, 3 incapps does apply. It happens to me frequently, the third incapp it says you have died, and I lose no faction since it was caused by incapps. However, unscrupulous people like yourself have found a way to exploit the system to grief people, which is wrong. If they make it so that 100% of the time 3 incapps kills you, there won't be a problem.

I only do it if the person is griefing the medcenter or cantina. I feel that if you bring the grief, you should expect some grief in return.

me and those in my guild will usaly DB right away except for a few situations. 1 were fighting a group that keeps cloning and comeing back with the group TEF flag. what well do is try to incap em all and then DB them all at once... sometimes the earlyer incaps get into their second cap befor we drop everybody. situation 2 were fighting peeps with ATST's. here what we do is incap em and focus on the ATST's.... the AI on those thigns is alot easier to deal with when there isnt someone controling it so we cap em blow the ATST then DB. we only use the definat griefing tactics on people that have pissed us off. one example of this was some imp that planted a house near our HQ and tried to pharm the TEF'd mission runners. he got blackbared several times as we had 3 CMs camping him and throwing different diseases every time he steped outside. (he moved after a few days of that). we will also sometimes return the favor to people that use griefing methods on us. We wont initiate the grief wars but we are more than happy to finish them.

To Upgrade something implies that you are adding too, enhancing, and fixing the thing that you are upgrading. The CU does not do this, it is not adding too, enhancing, or fixing the combat system that is in place, it is replacing the innovative SWG system with the generic one used by its competitors. Be honest and stop calling it the CU, Call it the CR (combat replacement) instead

Agree... eye for an eye... or in this case flame for a mind disease/poison

There may have been a purpose to this tactic when Revenge was in place. Now? It is simply griefing and people know it!

I can't stop them I don't have the power, but what I can do is disease thier action so that while I wait for the third and final drop I watch my victims Green streak turn to Black. I get to walk out of the med center with narry a wound on me. While my victim get to spend the next 15-20 minutes (depending on the Docs talent) in a med center.

We CMs hardly get a chance to DB as it is. Just do it and get on with the game. Yeah it may make your teammates mad, but in the end it's still just a game!

" However, unscrupulous people like yourself have found a way to exploit the system to grief people, which is wrong."

------

Ok let me explain to use the extend of this exploit which i use that allows you to incap ppl more than 3 times before they die. You gonna wanna incap the person. Then you gonna target thier ham for instance if they are incapped because thier health went into the negative number, you gonna want to line up an attack thats gonna hit that ham pool when they stand up. I prefer bodyshot2 for this situation, and im gonna want to be using a pistol in this situation.

Still with me cause this is a tough one.

Now eventually this negative number will go to positive and the person will stand up, your gonna want to have the person as your look-at target and use your bodyshot2 special.

Now repeat the process and see them get incapd over 3 times in most cases.

If you can't detect my sarcasm, i'm sorry, but its there.

Lexy you are no longer my idol.

I engaged in a PVP battle in Theed a few weeks ago. I ran in and threw down a AE poison and got like 6 people and promptly got slapped down. They didn't DB and continued to incap me every time I got up. I was surprised that they could do that, but it didn't bother me too much. Every time I got up, I had just enough time to lob another poison. They continued to ball up their people, and the area that I was in was where they were dragging their incapped players.

I did this until I ran out of poison and disease packs, then I got lucky and one of their people DB'd me. I actually got a tell from one of those guys telling me I was on their **edit**list for continually poisoning them. I was like, **edit**, you keep incapping me. What do you expect me to do?

my opinion is that the difference between 'good' pvp players and your average stock is their ability to know WHEN TO DB and when not to.

It's not about griefing, its about player suppression. If i am attacking a city regiment per se, and they keep chain spawning at clone to come after me, i will make it a point to wound/incapp them as much as possible to slow their efforts.

You're out in the booines on Dath? DB immediately... they'll appreciate the run back.

The situations in which you can apply the 'db or not to db' tactic are as diverse as the combat situations you can be in... use your best judgement.

So in essence, I believe it is a tactically viable way of suppressing pc's... unfortunately, it also happens to be the tool of griefers.

Here is my reason for not performing db's. If it's in a group tef situation, (thank God RTEF is Gone), I keep them incapped, until there whole group is incapped.

My reason is that I need time to regen my bars. Plus also it gives a chance to have a breather. Back in the day of RTEFs, if u db'd them, you would be half damaged or whatever, and that would put you a critcal disadvantage especially with the first strike advantage. I don't want to face someone that is at full strength if I'm damaged.
