yeah ok. This discussion is pointless since disease practiclly never ticks. It takes at least 30 seconds for the first tic and by that time a friend has usually killed them. I HATE the "disease a dead corpse" exploit. I heavilly encourage any CMs NOT to do this.

Personally, I dont like doing it but if someone Raids the medical center just cause i am TEFed then i do not hesistate to make sure they never to that again. Kinda funny when you put diseases and poisons on everything they have on their character from their ham to their stats.

The other vile sort of people are the Clone rushers. You kill a person and they rush at you and try to shoot you in the back. There again i kinda enjoy just kneeling over their body and dropping poisons and diseases on them while they lay there.

Its very mean but quiet funny when they send me a tell asking me to stop. I am not a vicious person. I am just one who found a good teaching tool and it works. If you get tired of people raiding the med center. Do that and they will leave you alone. Heck they will leave you alone when you go overt

Personally All is fair in love and war. If you dont like getting diseased and poisoned while incapped. Then dont get incapped or dont participate in pvp. Simple as that.

Unless it was fixed, which I haven't tried to see, you can disease someone, death blow them and they will clone back fully diseased. I had this happen to me, with no doctor to be found, and it took about 15-20 minutes to wear off. At which point I had99% wound damage in a 1100 mind pool. Then I had to sit around for another 5-10 minutes just to get my mind wounds heal. Disease is a very effective tool in taking people out of the battle.

the disease actually has to come after the deathblow...brutal tactic and a clear exploit of a game mechanic. (pay attention to exactly what happens when someone "clones")

These are all bugs and are supposedly getting fixed. The problem is will they fix the bugs that cause the problems before they nerf us to kingdom come?

im a commando and yes i use my flame thrower in pvp as much as possible. but i cannot burn incapped players nor burn a corpse and make it carry over to a clone. a clone for gods sake it should have no connection with your old body there for nothing should carry over beside's the wounds you took while still in battle. if you guys think this is fair its clear you are a few of the "im the most powerful" type and would hate to see a bug removed.i for one will be glad when enough people visit yours and every other board until this bug is removed

/frown... haven't seen this but as far as i know, once you are dead you loose any disease or poisons you had. You are saying if someone diseases or poison's the corps you have it when you come out of the cloning center? If so we should /bug the crap out of this. That's a nasty bug.

I'm glad to read this thread. I was called an exploiter this evening for tossing an area poison which hit some corpses. Now, I didn't target the incapped/corpsed people but they were in the AoE, and I can't tell the poison who to hit and who not to hit. Funny thing was, the guy who called me an exploiter lost all his hams from wounds bya commandowho flamed him while he was down, not from my poison, which just does damage.

well then SOE needs to fix it, not our fault if the AOEs hit corpses by accident.

Hotron, Covu: to win exactly what? PvP as it is involves no skills and no challenge and has no reward.

Tasha: bug it but don't stress it. how come they are able to fix stuff that works in our favor (like AE Stim Charges) within days but are unable to correct a typo that was reported 6 months ago? There are enough whiners out there bringing the abuse to attention, but abuse of broken stuff should not be one of our main issues.
