Elenora I've kept away from jumping on the bashing wagon against you but if you had read the beginning of this post it clearly says "..all is fair in love and war.." I am not complaining, as was also stated in the beginning of this thread.

I was having a good old fashioned debate with folks on the notion of attacking people in a Med Center.

Please feel free to join in with constructive non-flaming comments.

heh, well the logical reason not to poison the med center is that is where the doctors should be.

I fully agree that there needs to be a TEF notice when you are getting TEF from heals...this is something the medics have been asking for...

but until this is put in, you have to be away of ur surroundings and who u are healing...

if u are covert and dont want to get TEF simple...dont heal any faction members...

there are tons of ways to get tefs outside of healing and most of these come just from plain ignorance of the TEF system...

rather than making med centers and cantina non-battlezones (totally exploitable) SOE just needs to 1) proper document the ways you get a TEF and 2) incorporate a TEF notice for healers...

the TEF system is currently very buggy as well...people getting tefs for doing nothing and even instances of same factions getting tefs on one another...

until TEF is fixed, the best thing to do as a healer is to know who you are healing....coverts can see other coverts and overt...if they dont feel like getting involved in a fight then dont heal those people...

honestly is it any different if a covert is healing overts in a fight and a covert is healing overts in a hospital....

All i see is my enemy healing someone that could potentially come and attack me later...

I attack my enemies wherever they are, whoever they are. In my experience it is kill or be killed...last time I left some people alone in the Medical centre everyone came out to attack me anyways as soon as they noticed I was there. I will kill you in the Medical Centre, the Cantina or inside your house/PA hall without any hesitation whatsoever. The only place I try not to kill people is at a starport/shuttleport when they are loading...loading is not something that have any say over-being in those other places is.

There is only one small but very important detail you ommited in your post: I did not throw poison at you, I throw a poison at a rebel who was running from shuttle port right next to it and was entering med center, and with AOE 20m radius I got about 5 rebels (yourself including), and if I recall correctly I did not even DB you (though I did DB 4 others there, amsaingly enough only one of them ventured out of med center to see who poisoned them).

I should really go post it on Chilastra server board or make it my auto-response or something - If you got hit with AOE poison that means you are hostile to me! Either you were declared rebel, or had TEF or I had revenge flag on you, but in any case I have no control (nor do I want one really) over who gets covered with AOE poison, so obey Emperor laws and you will be fine.

I'm now with the few that say all is fair in war.

Spared a Novice Doctor in the Med Center only to have him come out and with 2 AT-STs and wipe out 3 people

Again, my opinion on attack wherever you choose was once again enforced last night. I just came back from Rori into Theed SP and saw a Rebel I hate heading to the med center, he was fully healed. I was covert when I came in so he didnt notice me. I saw him enter the med center and go to the second floor...this looked suspicious to me. I ran to the Imp Recruiter and went overt, and sure enough...he was a red dot. I ran back to the med center and a fight was ensuing, 2 of us killed him. Basically he went to the second floor to cheap kill people healing below. He then cloned, came back, went back up top the med center and attacked the other guy who killed him with the TEF again. This time I killed him solo as he tried to run out. My point? Unless everyone on a server abides by the "dont attack in med center rules", neither am I.

people need to learn rules of engagement. In my opinion med centers should be off limits. as it would in a real war. i guess you can't prevent terrorists throwing bombs in though

> people need to learn rules of engagement.

The only people who whine and insist on being honorable (learn rules of engagments, stop uising "exploit", being fare and fight without poison - my favorite) are the ones who are getting killed, and half of the time (like in this example) they don't even get the facts stright.

Here is another great one from yesterday: a declared rebel Creature Handler killed camping clone center - accusing me of using "exploit" - attack from behind the wall (not even into/from the building - I was in LOS most of the time) while saying it's ok to stick the pets through walls !!! I have SS too if anyone wants to see how loud some people will whine when they die.

There is no safe place if you are in faction. It is complete stupidity to except to be given reprieve because of your location.

I agree there should be notice to get TEF when healing, other than that you will be hunted down and killed, in the cantina, in the medical center, in your own house, anywhere.

If you understand this, and except it.. you will have a much better time.

I get so many /tells from coverts attacking an NPC Imp. right in front of me while I'm standing there OVERT with 3 commando's and then cry about why did I kill him, etc, etc, etc.

Or Overts, running around town and when I kill them they say "I wasn't looking for a fight, I was need to go to the bank, I needed to heal, needed to go to the bazaar, etc, etc, etc.

If you don't want to die stay true neutral.
