If Pistoleer was not gimped, i would pick it up. That i could stay close to the group and keep everyone healed. But in the current system, i would take rifleman. You simply cannot beat their firepower.

My template is designed to be pure support for my group. I risk my life to keep my group alive at all costs. I am a force multiplier. I allow my small group to defeat much larger groups by healing and curing them. Because of this i am very valuable. What i am saying is that i have designed my template to support, but support should not be our only option.
A typical battle goes like this:
1)Pick a target, throw area and single poisons.
2)Scan group's HAM
if People need healing
Heal those in need.

I never succumb to that throw away cannon fodder role.. Just not my thing anymore. I don't start chucking poisons now unless I'm sure I got a chance to live to see those who I poisoned die.
So you also feel that you are used as a suicide bomber of sorts in these engagements? What do you propose be changed to make the Combat Medics role in battle not only survivable but effective?
Sounds like you guys PvP with the wrong type of people. I am picking up CM to help my guild out. Currently I am a master Doc and help them when I can... healing damage, states, and buffing. When I get attacked they come to the rescue and back me up. When I die, I get a rez, when I told them I was adding Master to my Master Doc, they got all giddy. In fact I was sold a +6 Cm exp tape for a million from a guildie.... not only that but thier going to go fire spider hunting to get me some poison boosts.

"I agree that combat medics should be able to rez, cure disease/poison/states in the battlefied just the same as docs, difference between docs and combat medics is that docs buff, and combat medics toss poisons/diseases."
Then what are docs to do when buffs are no longer godly?
Tell you what, you get area poison and area disease cures (way to go, nerfed your class there, you realize that right?), the ability to rez, and the ability to cure states. Keys: You dont get them ranged you get to use them all as doc has to use them, within 6 meters.
Doc, gets ranged healing.
Afterall, you say that combat medics toss poison and disease, so you wont care if docs get the ability to use area and single ranged stims.

I don't know whether my post will fit in here or not. Anyway, I just pick up Novice CM and realize that CM can't cure disease, kinda disappointed. Usually the person who created a poison or disease would be the person can create the antidose for it. I understand that doc should be able to cure disease and poison, they are doctor after all. Just that it seem weird to me for a class that make poison, can't make the antidose for it.\
Just me 2 cents.

If I had my way, I could care less about the ability to throw disease and poison. If anything, I would rather have more abilities in pistols or scout. I would like to see myself being able to be the best damn combat medic out there. I would like to have area heals (including mind) including rez. To me, if I can keep my team alive and going until the fight is over, then I will be heavily relied on.

Why do you want to rez...combat medic heal, not perform surgery. You like to think at least some of this game is based on real-life principles. When was the last time a Medic in the field performed open heart surgery? You need a doc to do that.

I agree with you on the surgery idea, but I think of rez more like CPR or something like that.

Yea, doctors perform surgery, not resurrect people. Plus, doctors do this in a hospital, not in the field. Medics are the true life savers when you hurt in battle (if you want to compare this to real life). Then, when you are done with the battle, and need your broken leg fixed you go to your high paid doctor and he has the skills/training to fix you up. I agree with the CPR Theory.
