Michael, just a side note:
the database stores your inventory by item ID and when you log in, your inventory gets reorganized to display the order saved in the database. this might create some confusion on which stims will be used, but you are totaly right - top left to bottom right.

thank you Ark_Angel!! I just made master medic last night and sure enough I can use them. I didnt realize I could have put my exp pts to get that lowered. I was putting them in getting more uses out of them. and of course the last thing I had to get before master medic was pharm IV

It's also interesting to note that sometimes it does it after I die (but not every time, it also randomly swaps weapons - I have 2 carabines and after death I always have to verify I hold the right one)
That's why I keep full backpack of medicine and have them hotkeyed with a few emergency C packs in main inventory to heal myself using /healdamage Sekir macro.
