Thread: making money as a Master Combat Medic
I travel a ton. I've been searching for the elusive class 4 liquid petro fuel and the dolovite steel that don't seem to exist. I've set up harvesters on Rori, Tatooine, Lok, Dantooine, Talus so far. I wouldn't fret so much about not making money at the moment. Once everyone is done getting experience to level up the medical centers will be empty of medics and doctors giving out free heals. (by the way if you're one of the gimps that spends 18 hours a day in the same medical center justhealing people that roam bythat's sad). I'd wager that soon in the game no one will be giving out free wound heals. I'm a bit tired of people begging stimpacks and woundpacks off me like they cost me nothing in time or components to make. My biggest pet peeve in a group right now is ninja looting. I was the only medic last night in the Wayfar Tuskan camp. I was spamming heals like a madman. The Banthas are herbivores and I need herbivore meat. I asked to have the meat. DIDN'T HAPPEN. Whoever was ninja looting must have thought the meat/hides or bone was just too valuable to allow a combat medic, who's spending all his stims healing the group, have. When, and if, /group notify harvest, /group notify items work people will hopefully stop being such ninjas. Maybe group chat and guildchat will work soon too without the bugs.
Anyway, my biggest expense is travel and maintaining harvesters. I solo missions on Dantooine for cash when I need it. I'm a carbineer and a combat medic. I don't wear any armor at all (just clothes made by a wicked cool tailor) and have an Elite Carbine.

I've been selling mine on the bazaars in Theed, Bestine and Corellia for 750 each. I can't keep them on the bazaar. They go very quickly. They usually have about 29-30 charges and a 230-250 base heal. I know others on Chilastra charge a similar price.
OMG I have been selling Stim C for 300 (that's a tiny profit) and wondering how come they go so fast

Check the baz... first check on the planet your on then the galaxy... check the quality of the ones on the baz and then yours...
I usually just lowball the average price by 10% and sell all mine within a day

Ooops. Yeah you can definitely get a lot more than 300 on Lok. You can charge a little more if you want on planets like Lok and Dantooine than say on Corellia. I usually up my prices on advanced planets by 50-100 credits depending on the quality of the stims. Costs more to travel there, so it costs more to sell
