Ever heard of food buffs? there are plenty that cut the mind ham cost which you can use, AND you are forgetting that most docs, including cms have thier Mind stats set to regenerate as fast as possible.
Better take those things into thought.
Most people dont think about those when calling for a nerf or making a statement about anothers profession.
Buffs, stat migration, armor etc etc all come into play.

A CM is just as likely to have the same buffs going for Mind as a Doc does. Docds have nothing special for their ability to buff mind that improfves their chances over a CM in such a situation. So I stand by my statement. The CM can use those Buffs just like a Doc can, so all things being equal about such tactics, the Doc will run out of mind long before he can cure all of the people poisoned by AoE poison, while the CM will have plenty of mind left.

I am a doc and a cm, been in both situations just as you have and there is no difference.
i have mastered doc and CM. The disease and poison cure packs are far too effective already and it is not too difficult to make them. Making diseases and poisons is an art. The material are very difficult to find.
I am really getting tired of the balance crys. I have cried them myself with the MCH/flame 4 over powered combo, but I am done crying and going to play the game and let the DEVS do their balance cure all first.
Why does everything have to be balanced? There isnt a true balance to flame? Our poisons should equal flame in damage if you want to be realistic. your logic dictates that in any PvP match we should have equal numbers of commandos, BHs, docs, CMs, etc.. Battles are won and lost by one side having an advantage. One day the rebs will win and another the imps will win.
In PvP i have only used my area heals once. Docs use buffs over and over. my point is there is only one thing that a CM brings to PvP or two... poisons and diseases and when I use them I will be DBd in seconds.
So go cry somewhere else before I go cry that the doctor buffs should be on the same timer as the musician buffs. Only fair??
Oh yeah, CM should not be balanced to Doctors just because a Doctor can cure poison. I read the first post over and realized this guys just a whiner.

i guess i'll have to put my two cents in here, as a MCM/rifleman i last 2 whole seconds in PVP after i toss my first disease/poison and i am targeted very time i reenter combat. my poisons don't incapp so i get DB'd,ok i can deal with that, my diseases can slowly eat you HAM bar that's kind of a good thing to me since i really get no chance to hurt you. Almost half of the component needed to make halfway decent poison/diseases spawn on my server once every 4 months(not a good thing for me), so i have to rely on throwing crappy stuff ,being negative faction, letting other get my DB's and having other player whine about
a MCM that can't kill most people in PVP, thanks i can't wait until they nerf Doc's so that they can only double your stats so you can feel what it's like to have the nerf bat beat you into uselessness. please go whine in the general forums and not here.
Really, Irulal, you DID make a tactical mistake. Instead of healing all those people, you should have those four docs focus their primary weapons on the CM. When he was down, THEN you heal. A poor tactical decisions does not require a nerf.
And really...there were twenty of you? And he had time to throw that many poisons? Even at master, the animation takes a while...He should have never gotten off the second throw. Glad to see you're Imperial. ![]()
