The B packs I made last night used awesome resources and came out at 96% effectivness, after maxing the effect I had 2 points left over to add to the duration. Also the packs do have a great use outside of PvP since so many creatures poison/disease, it's nice to offer a resist to people going on a Kimo hunt. Since this just hit test center know that things always change before it hits the production servers, the devs like to do min/max on things and balance it out on my home server

So I am asking, no pleading with you to use your voice at this time and have some of the power of the enh resistance packs be reduced. Some of the testing on Test center with B packs alone on our "regular" potentcy packs (120ish) are being resisted over 70% of the time (imagine what resist C packs will be like) not to mention the 22m radius of area cures. I can recognize that CM power needs a balance but some of this needs to be reduced or at the very least move the cures or the resist buffs to the cm trees.

We dont have much time. You are our voice. Please use it.

You're not supposed to be a powerful offensive profession. You're a SUPPORT class.

If you don't like healing, and supporting your groupmates, pick a different class.

Ok give us something to support then!

Nerf armor and buffs so that people will need to have a healer with them when they go out in a grp.

I like healing as much as the next MCM, but we need targets to heal. Watching someone lost 5 to 10% of their buffed HP's while fighting a nightsister or a krayt is no fun.

Give us stuff to heal...nerf buffs and armor

I'm sure you'll get that..........in the combat balance.

You're not the only profession that's screwed until then. Welcome to the club.

What, like I've been silent this whole time? Seriously, give me some credit here. I've been with these professions longer then most, I know them and have ALWAYS fought for them. You think that because I'm a corre that somehow that's stopped? Heh. Look, I'm doing the best I can. If they don't listen, there isn't anything I can do OR say that will change it.
And, for the record, I'm a guy folks.

Interesting that you would get defensive, perhaps you need to take a step back and not take what i said personally. Act like a professional. I was merely saying that the time between test and live is a critical period which, since you have your toon on the test center, and can test out the dynamics of the new packs and their effect on our profession that the devs would be MORE likely to listen to you input prior to a live launch. No where in my post was I suggesting that you have slacked off. I was merely highlighting that this time is best spent testing rather than posting a challenge to see what our best potentcy is--clearly even our best now only sticks 20% of the time at most. Again I posted not to attack you, but to encourage your voice because you, and you alone are best situated to give informed feedback to the devs with your test center toon.

Maybe you should realize that you post has a slightly negative tone to it. I am willing to bet that Texxie was aware of the timetable and the need to voice these issues to the Devs without you being so helpful as to point them out.

You guys give the Devs waaayyy too much credit. It is possible that they read every post put up in the correspondent forums, but if they do, they give VERY LITTLE feedback to the correspondents. They are also notorious for implementing changes without warning the corrs ahead of time.

There are several reasons I quit as correspondent, the major one being RL time commitment issues. But there are reasons i quit also. It is not an easy job. It is also the kind of job that you very rarely get any positive feedback. But I've made posts like this in this forum before and they have vanished pretty quickly, so who know if they are read by just the mods or by the Devs also.

Texxie- I know you are doing your best. Keep up the good work. I think you've made it 25% longer than I did if I remember correctly. You are a better man than I am.

Pip Tazo (the Zabrak)

hey, Texxie works hard. back off. Texxie's doing as much as he can without flying to austin and coding it himself, so cut him some slack... he doesn't deserve some of the crap you guys give him.

Pip... you worked hard too

We know you're doing what you can.

It just bothersus that the devs seem to have decided not to listen.

Haven't you heard? Any time ANYTHING bad happens to a profession it's because the correspondant didn't prevent it and got slack. We all know the devs only do what the corrrespondants say so when a nerf happens it's because the correspondant didn't stop it, and if fixes don't come when we want it's because the correspondant isn't working hard enough to put pressure on the devs.

Never mind the fact we don't know what's going on in the correspondant's forum(becausewe already know everything) and we all know that when you tell us that "all you can do is post" and you tell us about the "lack of feedback from the devs"we all know you are lying to us because you are the correspondant and you hold ultimate power.

One day I'm going to find a way to blame pikeman problems on you as well vortexala you just watch. I mean your a correspondant after all and they are still broken so it must be your fault.

In Texxie we trust... every one else is a worthless bum.

I don't have much hope for the voice of reason on this one... the masses of uneducated and unwashed nerf herders drown that one out. But perhaps, just perhaps someone could do the math and realize that a well crafted C innoc should be able to negate a well crafted C poison at about 60-75% (or even lower given that it has a absorbtion rating as well).

Canceling C's out with B's is just silly... it isn't even a nerf... it's a monument to stupidity and the power of the mob.
