sadly, snares and roots are pretty much the only way to deal with anything worth killing in the game. its how i kill krayts with my friend, we take turns rooting and snare when root fails.

a lot of ppl have a problem with how roots work but if they change it then they make everyone with root that much more ineffective. if you want to push for a change, essentially taking away a tactic needlessly, then you should also have something to replace it.

I agree, after all it is the Perma root delema that has been cause for a lot of controversy over whether or not stoping shot should be changed drasticly in a bad manor

isnt that what it does now? i mean thats how i use root and snare. for example, if something is attacking my friend and hes trying to get away, i root or snare that something so that he can get distance. or if 2 hard hitting creatures attack, root one then fight the other. to me that is crowd control.

as you said, right now it takes more than one person to keep someone rooted. 2 vs 1 battles arent suppose to be equal anyway. if there is some immunity timer given to root or snare similar to the one for mezzes tell how much can crowd control get better?

Controling a single target isn't crowd control. Post in that focus thread if you like, then I can keep all the viewpoints in one place.
