Well doc that's not the point. The potency WAS FINE before the NERF.
Now if I have to be a millionaire so that I can buy the rare loot drop components or go hunting for weeks just to get enough drops to make poisons that are going to be effective in NORMAL EVERY-DAY PVE combat... well that's just screwed!
I already spent months gathering the best resources to craft excellent quality advanced components! I'm NOT using CRAP resources.
Of course, I guess to be effective in this game and to have fun in NORMAL EVERY-DAY PVE hunting, I should have to get extremely RARE drops to craft with, and get extremely RARE drops to add effectiveness to my crafting experimentation! Either that... or be a DOCTOR so that I can spend half my game time on my butt in Coronet buffing to make tons of money so that I can BUY those things.
I remember once a long long time ago reading about how this game was going to be enjoyable to everyone... not just the hardcore players.
WRONG AGAIN!

Well I'm at work so I can't tell you the exact potency but I know for a fact that the C's are over 100 right out of the box and with two experiments I make my B's over 100 potency. I also experiment my A's to over 90.
Do I have to spend all my points and get potency up to 130 or higher?

I've got 103 Potency poisons currently that I use in PvE. I'm not seeing any change in resist rates at all...

Same here. The other day when throwing some area C health poisons I was actually shocked when one creature resisted since he was one of only 3 to resist in hours of hunting.

I notice last night on my singles that I was being resisted more frequently. My singles are 104 potency which was more then adequate pre patch but seams more then 5% miss post patch. I've been playing in the Fort again leveling my swordsman and I only use the poisons on warlords or cheifs and always apply both my nice mind and health singles (to deter kill stealers). I am missing more then 5%, probably closer to 15%. Since I toss both each time I fight, I would expect to miss 1 toss for every 10 creatures (20 tosses total). I am missing atleast 1 toss for every4 mobsand on some I am missing both on a single target.
If mobs now have resistances to our toys, can they be displayed in the examine window?

CM is still great for Uber Mobs. Elders and Giant Krayts take about 10mins to kill.
Defense is a problem, not much room left to add defense, but CM and another person is a great duo for killing the uber mobs.

Its the other person and the secondary prof. you have that makes it a 10min kill. Otherwise you're still looking at 30-40min+ with poison/disease alone.
