I knew that some critters drop additional resource as loot for quite a while already. I've always considered it a "feature." Happens mostly on Tat but I think I had it happened on Naboo and Yavin too.

Think of it this way: that servorrt just ate something/someone and have not fully digested it yet. There's your looted meat
