ur right wolfing poison A sux...but poison C rocks

i also blew thousnads upon thousands when i first hit CM to gather all the resources, but it gets easier....i just hope u have ur own harvesters (i flew to 7 planets b4 i found one that had radioactives and liq petro fuel, but its been pretty easy since that first day)

anyway my poison C hits every 5-8 seconds, and the ones i got now do 352 a tick, and they arent the best by any means

from what i know poison A and B are absolutely worthless i wouldnt bother with....but C is great...so have patience, and make sure u experiment

i jsut posted on this but potency(under ease of use) is chance to apply

and effectiveness is half the dmg to be done per tick

No Sony is not Kidding..... Poisons and dieases SUCK..... yes they do...

I have been a master CM for weeks now, and the only thing I can do is heal at range.. Wohoo!!!

where is the "combat" in the CM title? where are our dots.... **edit** the devs to hell!!!

and that is just tip of the iceburg...... just read the rest of the post in this compleatly bugged out and almoust useless class to find out what i mean.

if you want to be "healer" go for master doc and only invest very little points in CM so you heal the foolz that leave your puny 6m range.

I just made combat medic last night too Wolfing. I was also eager to try out the poison packs, but discovered that they totally suck.

I managed to affect a blue con target once out of six attempts. Even then, it did a meagre 36 damage per hit, which was regenerated almost instantly.

The resources required for the disease packs aren't the easiest to collect as they are fairly specific. The fact that you need to reach Novice combat medic which takes plenty of med and combat xp grinding to even use these pieces of junk isa joke.

I'm aware that they get better as you advance up the combat med crafting line, but atleast give us some credit for reachingone of the harderhybrid professions.

Hmmm, well the last batch of C's I made were draining 484 per tick. Not bad IMO, but could be better.

For an elite profession, 484 just stinks

Why bother to throw a grenade when I could just shoot it for 1300 instead?

Well, I don't get resisted very often honestly, and ya the damage is kinda bad. Maybe 1-2 resists in 10, of course it depends what your fighting at the time. I'll probably go a little less damage and a little more into potency, but i have about 45 of them to go through before i need to make a new batch.

that's the thing, you had to experiment heavily into potency for it to work. No items should *require* experimentation for them to work. Any basic non-experimented item should at least work 75% of the time unless the creature has some specific resitance against poison. Experimentation should go up from there.

And come on, 400 points per tick is nothing. We are combat medics, we are required to have ranged combat skills, and most probably experts in one of the ranged weapon types. Unless we're fighting huge things, we'll probably do more damage with one shot than with 3 of those ticks (18 seconds, 90% of the fights end before that). And if it is a huge thing so the fight can last longer and that damage means something... it will most probably resist it, probably even with experimentation.
